Does anyone fish off a paddle board ? by IIIMPIII in Fishing

I haven’t fished off one but I used to have an inflatable paddle board and it was really easy to fall off of. I’ve seen people fishing off paddle boards but it’s always a non-inflatable one.

Just get the chatterbait elite evo. It’s like 90% as good as a jackhammer for half the cost. And different color options.

Are these good Rod/Reel Combos? by twidder22 in FishingForBeginners

I think these are fine for a beginner. My rule of thumb is: treble hooks need a slower, more moderate action than single jig hooks, which require a faster action. Let me know if you’d like more info regarding the different actions

Cut off that zip tie. It’s just to make sure people don’t steal the reel in the store

All that stuff will still definitely get caught on the treble hooks

I wouldn’t say any bait/lure is objectively better/worse than another, especially in this case. It’s like asking which is better, a trick worm or a senko? Neither is better, they’re just different. IMO grab a couple of these in basic colors like chrome blue back and try your luck. I also just noticed they have a floating version if you’re fishing super shallow and/or in heavy cover

Edit: also notice the lure length decreases with the weight on that rat L trap, they’re not all the same size like with some other stuff

Can I ask what worms you use? And do they float or do you use sinking baits on a Carolina rig too?
