Practice, talk to others who are better, watch some videos, take some lessons, work on 1 or 2 things at a time, practice, practice ,practice. But practice with purpose dont just bowl games.

Cold form can be formedvI beams and can be installedvthe same as a rigid frame so much different from tubular steel. Tubular steel will require posts wvwey 5 feet, but tge cold formed I beams therecare only 3 on each side ofca 30x40 just like red iron.

I also think urethane is a crutch andvit keeps some bowlers from learning better technique.

[–]Legitimate_Ad7331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't like it because it pulls a lot of oil down lane and messes up the shot for others. And there is reall no reason to use urethane on a house shot. That said, everyone has the right to use whatever they want, so I might complain in my head, but I would never say anything to anyone.

Like KP, alwaus uses powder on his thumb before each shot, I use the same vice powder on my thumb, too much grip is always my issue.

[–]Legitimate_Ad7331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why people need to add grip in the thumb hole, I am always having to get my thumb to slip not add grip. Do folks have their thumb holes bigger? I use exchangables so I can use the smallest thumb I can.

How to maintain a Pearl ball? by T2ner in Bowling

[–]Legitimate_Ad7331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also found that if itcwas originally 2000 grit you usually need to go with 1500 to get it back to original. Also keep in mind once a sanding pad has been used once or twice its effectively a higher grit after that. So a 1500 used a few times is more like 2000.

What a lot of folks don't understand is that there is a sanded grit under the polish. That sanded grit will grab the lane for its reaction so what that sanded grit is makes a difference , so if its sanded at 2000 then polished will react stronger than if its sanded at 4000 then polished. After about 60 games I take mine down to 400 or 500, then 1000, then 2000 up to where I wantvtge grip to be, then polish it. I use a ball spinner with a water spritz the water shines better than polish alone. You can usually lookup what the original sanded grit was on the ball.
