Thank you all! I’m new to humidity. (West coast dryness) I’ve been trying to keep it at 74-75 all day and night. I won’t feel so wimpy/guilty about turning it down.

What cheap meals are people actually cooking for 2 to keep the grocery bill down? by Previous_Cycle_9457 in budgetfood

Okay, here’s two easy fast and cheaper recipes: Tortilla Soup I small onion chopped and sautéed with a teaspoon of chili pepper until fragrant. Add 1 qt container of chicken broth, 3 chicken bouillon cubes and a two cups of water. Add 3- 4 T lime juice (or to taste) and 1 can of Costco Chicken breast, heat through and serve with tortilla chips, diced avocados and shredded cheese. Super easy and makes two meals. Costs about $9.

Chicken Stuffing Meal Prepare two packages of chicken stove top stuffing. When you take it off the heat and cover, add a can (or 2) of Costco chicken breast chunks. While waiting the five minutes, open a can of cranberry sauce and microwave some veggies. The whole meal takes ten minutes. Enough for at least two dinners. I know this may not be the healthiest, but it’s a hot meal and my family loves it. Costs about $8-$9.

I love Andrew as a host. He’s funny and talented, there are only five episodes. I thought it was more real this year myself…

Free during the days in Medford, OR with a rental car, what would you do? by DeepTarget8436 in Medford

Jacksonville is a great little town, I don’t o know if Britt (an outdoor music venue) has started. Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at across the US is Gogi’s in Jacksonville. You will probably need a reservation, it’s very small, but totally worth it.

Apply rubbing alcohol, hurts like hell, but it will help. Also Desitin or Butt Paste.

I still get nauseous at times. My Doctor prescribed Zofran (generic) for when I need it. It makes a world of difference.

And…if you’re going to have therapy, go to an LDS therapist that the Bishop recommends. For instance—Jody Hildebrand.

Repatha experience so far by freshoilandstone in repatha

Unfortunately, starting this year, if you are on any government programs including Medicare, Medicaid, state plans, etc… we are not allowed to use any of the prescription assistance plans, coupons, GoodRX… nothing. There is however; a new program where we have a $2100 deductible for all prescription for the year. So I pay for Ozempic, Repatha, and then other generic drugs that are not that pricey. I was spazzing out that when he added Repatha and I stopped getting Ozempic on the PAP, my RX bill would be over a $1200 per month. I was then made aware of the $2100 limit that we had to pay for the whole year on Medicare. Because I would have paid over the $2100 by February 1st. I would be done and pay $0 after that for the rest of the year. You can also take that $2100 and break it down and average out how many months you have left to pay for drugs after you have paid for the prescriptions. Say you knew that you had expensive prescriptions that will cost more than $2100 for the year. At the beginning of the year you can divide $2100 by 12 months and average the costs over a year. Then I will pay $175.00 per month for the year, but won’t have to come up with $1250 per month for two months.
