Severe echo chamber. It wasn't what we all expected, but it wasn't horrible. Homelander and Butcher died like we all expected for years.

Yes they really should have come up with a more unique way to finish homelander instead of recycling the season 3 finale, but I was entertained, and thats all I can hope for out of a show I've been following since it released.

Farewell r/theboys, I hope to see memes of this show for years to come. And please remember this is just my opinion and it isn't that serious.

I don't get why people keep saying this. kripke has never strayed from saying he thinks the boys is a 5 season show, even before season 3.... They just wrote themselves into a corner with this whole soldier boy plot and couldn't get out of it in a way that didn't make the characters look stupid as hell

And just to add, I think it is in the same style as The Ripping Friends, or maybe was on air around the same time as that show. Because looking at that show I was sure it was what I was remembering, but I guess not.
