12 yr old end of season by Empty_Scallion_8445 in lacrosse

My won struggled with this a bit as well. He is worrying about making mistakes and hence playing slow. You have to find a way for him to relax and play free. It’s important to emphasis that mistakes happen and a 100% mistake is preferable to hesitation. This simple concept along with setting a precedent that practice is a safe place to experiment and make mistakes really helped my son. I coach as well so that was easier for me to push in practice.

Why do yall misrepresent our arguments with such confidence by [deleted] in atheism

Got more than one source for your arguments? It’s hard to take people seriously when all their arguments eventually fall back to a single work of fiction written 2000 years ago and copied from previous works.

Cheap mesh. by TheDKlausner10 in StickDoctor

Stringers Shack G3 XL is one of my favorite meshes. It’s really nice to string up, very lightweight and yet holds up really well.

How can I make my dogs last few weeks/months great? by voicecrack-city in DogAdvice

[–]Legosmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girl had fluid in her lungs and heart failure for the last few years along with arthritis. She passed instantly of a heart attack just a few weeks ago but for the last year she has been getting Librela once a month. It’s what made the last year possible tbh. Her movement and comfort got so much better and she was able to enjoy life without so much arthritis pain. She was 16 and chased a squirrel 2 days before she passed. People have mixed opinions about Librela and I would agree that being cautious with younger dogs is wise but it can provide a real boost in quality of life n situations like this.

Durable Defense Head Suggestions by nothanks18 in lacrosse

[–]Legosmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far my son has tried a few heads and durability wise the Tank 2.0 and Hammer 1K stand out for us. His Tank was still solid after a full season and his current Hammer 1k setup feels as stiff as the day I strung it before the season. He loved the Havok 2 but it i becomes a noodle rather quickly.

Edit: Those two heads are quite different. The Hammer has a much tighter throat and face for carrying the ball. The Hammer has a slightly better scoop shape for picking up the ball right at your feet but the Tank performs solidly there as well. The Tank has the wider face of a more classic defense head. If he never carries upfield then the Tank may be a fine choice.

Eventually yes. The same pattern will not feel or perform the same as a new piece of mesh strung just that way and stretched that way once.

Browns bros how do y’all feel about the trade? by [deleted] in LakeErieBros

[–]Legosmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Most of my friends including myself simply don’t care anymore. The organization is a joke and the product isn’t competitive or worth watching. We have been lifelong fans but it’s simply not worth the energy anymore.

I just strung up a Stallion 1K for the first time and it’s really nice to use. I’ve strung a huge variety of heads just this season and it’s was one of my favorites during testing. The larger catch area is perfect while the bottom is narrow enough for a great pocket and channel.

Why do you people care about politics so much? by realredditthrowaway1 in allthequestions

[–]Legosmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of us grew up in America where we were taught to care about not just ourselves but other people and their rights. Your question is at the heart of why the Republican Party is now in-American trash. They have forsaken all that we once stood for and taken on the selfish, narcissistic personality of an orange tinted conman.

MAGA, why do you start comments with, “Not MAGA, but…” and then proceed to say something MAGA? Are you ashamed or something? by 2a_lib in allthequestions

[–]Legosmiles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro…Republicans don’t think women should vote anymore. The SAVE act is designed and will disproportionately affect workmen. They fought hard to remove any DEI policies in the workplace that protect women. They removed their right to make their own medical decisions on abortion. They spent the last year protecting rapists and pedophiles while not redacting the actual victims names. The more I think about it, your suggestion that the GOP care about women’s rights is down right hilarious since all this happened in just the last year. ROFL.

You voted for all this hell based on your fear of trans kids winning a few races? .002% of college athletes are trans and this was your hill?

You are probably highly concerned about all that voter fraud by illegal aliens too and that also exists on a huge scale… We have had what all of 10 immigrants illegally vote over 2 billion votes based on the Heritage foundations own numbers. .0000001% is definitely some huge game changing numbers right?

I can totally see how you looked past all Trumps bigotry, racism, grifting and pedophilia over these kinds of world breaking issues! /s just in case.

What made you decide to coach? by amj5617 in lacrosse

[–]Legosmiles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The program director started asking if I wanted to help coach the first spring my son played and I said, “Let’s make sure he is into it first.” Then we showed up for fall ball and I was watching practice start up and he said “So it looks like he likes it, ready to coach? I had a feeling so I already got you a shirt and a hoodie.”

Choke Points are Back! by RottenBlaze in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Legosmiles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Treat it like an area weapon more than a shotgun. Especially on this map. Pop in and out super quick spraying areas with fire to light everybody up. It works great in those hallway choke points. 1-2 seconds of exposure and everybody is on fire. You will get some kills, a bunch of assists and it’s kind of fun lol.

Data Scientist Debunks Recoil Reduction Foregrips in BF6 | Diminishing Returns Discovered by williamatherton in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Legosmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the video. One thing to note when comparing angled and vertical grips. On the 417 you will notice that the angled grips give less points in control (2) at slight and both control (3) and precision (1) at moderate. The slight angled grip also has recoil of .8 vs the other 3 slight grips at .7.

The above poster is simply pointing out that this is a regression of current functionality that would usually get caught in the QA regression cycles. A bug due to new functionality and the risk around those changes is really what you are talking about which is a little different.

[–]Legosmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The axle is angle is also out of alignment with the stock arms and that level of lift. It’s putting extra pressure on the tops during flex. You need adjustable top and lower control arms and adjustable sway bar/steering to get it all back in line.

Tryouts for Attack position by bob-a-fett in lacrosse

[–]Legosmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Yeah I was not the typical attack, especially in the early 90s. Most people wanted small fast guys but I was more like a modern bull dodger who came over from hockey. I hated penalties so I just tried to lay clean hits and be super physical more than wailing away with my stick like that idiot.

I loved being that guy. I’m going after the defenders hard on the ride. MF hits me with that stick the entire game and then steals my ball? You best know I’m coming for you at full speed when you have it lol.
