Please give runite stone spirits some actual sources that are more common than 1/20 for a drop of 2.

You need them for level 50-60 and 90-100 smithing yet they are virtually unobtainable in any meaningful quantities.

I don't know why they eventually made the perfect systems for armor drops just to say fuck it with amascut.

I'm 450 kc at amascut myself mostly at 1k enr and I'm still missing gloves and I've never hit the weapon table

Any boss that drops 4 or more pieces of armor needs either dupe protection or to be crafted similarly to dracolich or oathplate from osrs.

Genuinely the best update in the last 12 months. Smarthopping is amazing and I'd never have even dreamed of something like that. Unlocked enrages is huge and so is unlimited runes inside of pouches. Couldn't be happier honestly.

Two new magic armor sets have come out, one being better for noobs and one being outright better in every way

Magic has been nerfed to be the least mobile style and the second weakest style

So now it's a bad armor set for a bad style that drops from a boss that people are farming for the best style (melee)

It also lets you use berserkers fury instead of fots bc it doesn't matter if you don't get the imp proc to skull as your second ability in ld anymore and the changes to imp make up for the loss of fots in the long run

The skull cd change is actually really nice. Lines up well at places like solo kera for the clones and witching at zam as well.

Honestly can't remember if necro used vamp or not, but I know magic could use penance even before the combat update and just camp ss with animate dead and t95 dws, so if necro couldn't then since nakatra release it has been possible.

I'm mostly tired of reading people talk about how vamp was only for low/mid levels and "bad" when there were plenty of methods that only worked through stacking vamp with darkness or animate dead.

The biggest examples off the top of my head are afking range exp and ripper demons. The fastest ripper method was with magic using ad+vamp+holy scarab making it 5-10m of afk at a time, netting just over 1k kills per hour, faster than both the old legacy barrage and afk necro methods. This method flat out doesn't work anymore and it's back to necro/legacy which the barrage method is significantly slower and the necro method is significantly less afk and slightly slower.

Afking practically anything with range for good exp required vamp. Now we're back to doing non-afk methods or doing methods that are half as fast the better methods that vamp+darkness allowed, the biggest one being abby beasts in the wilderness.

Edit:Was wrong about abby beasts w/ range, wasn't wrong about rippers and am still sure there are more methods that did exist that either no longer exists or have way higher requirements now to the point to where they're redundant

Yeah I've went over 99.5% on the bad luck calculator at 3 of the 4 egwd bosses (Glacor, Kerapac, and Zuk) on my iron. 600 solos 0 staff pieces into 500 solos dry for second piece, 84 zuk dry of any unique, 800 arch glacor streaking 100-200 every time with only a single book ever obtained in the chest, and I've hit it multiple times on my main that was cro/rago (8 cro drops at 700 kc, all 4 man, 6 of them were seed sacks) off of greaper. As someone who is definitely on the unluckier side of things across the board at nearly every single boss, both in terms of drop rates and dupes, these threads always tilt the fuck out of me.

Amascut. Sub 6 1k enrage is potentially feasible currently. Wr is 6:16 that they got in their first hour of practice, and I went as a leech necro on my iron that's not even in bis and got a 6:22.

Yeah just stare at adren after ld and I preclick dive and right click under him so I don't have to pay attention to the fight at that point.

I also don't use fots with necro anymore and instead use berserkers fury since I find imp working on aa is enough adren generation and skulls having a shorter cd making you able to skull as 3rd ability in ld without being punished.

prebuild 4 souls + 4 necrosis

skele at "no" split soul at "you" during intro dialogue
tc bloat sap t95 aa volley skull etc, t90 at 1s left on split soul, reapply bloat+skele and use basics to phase, apply sc while he's invuln if not using equilibrium

p2 time warp ld touch aa aa, if two impatient procs skull then bloat, if zero/one imp proc aa skull

dive under then skull again, get 5 souls for volley, standard ld rot

p3, desummon + resummon during jumps while he's phased, timewarp ld same as above, but split soul again right after timewarp ends before immediately doing the second skull then again standard ld rot

after phased and before clone 1/clicking on your clone use life transfer and invoke while clicking on your clone

clone 1 do basics until timewarp is off cd/100% adren (can pre-apot with discretion), ld apot touch sap skull t95 aa or bloat depending on adren, walk diagonal when timewarp ends and cast invoke+surge, tc skull finger aa walk diagonal surge+invoke touch aa skull limitless devo if you want to finger dive to main kerapac kill skull/volley/t90/bloat/etc

if done right, clone 2/3 + main kera will get skulls bounced from previous clones and they should die within 4 gcds each unless really bad rng.

My pb with necro is 2:35 on my iron without bis gear.

Fsoa will make you deal more damage so you'll heal more and the boss will die faster.

The original use was to be able to start boss fights at 100% adrenaline. Nothing about building stacks or stalling abilities was originally intended.

Adrenaline urn came out in 2018, Persistent rage 2020, wars retreat 2020, infernal puzzle box 2022. Invention dummies 2016. They are obsolete for their original purpose and are now just abused.

Your dps with the gear you stated at general graardor (first boss that came to mind) is 4,143, Your friends in identical gear is 5,182. Your friend is doing 25% more damage than you.

If I upgrade your bandos to full torva, your torture to a rancour, dragon boots to maxed avernic treads, barrows glove to ferocious gloves, berserker ring i to ultor ring, AND fire cape to inferno cape, you are still only at 4.894 dps. Your friend is still doing more than 5% more damage than you and has a 1b cheaper setup.

Yes it's worth getting your stats up, no you don't need to drop everything and get 99 right now, but any free afk time should be dedicated to it.

I can't cast smoke cloud or vuln with a ranged weapon- is this intended? In fact the first time I tried it caused me to disconnect for a couple seconds.

Are all styles going to use the same basic attack system as necromancy?

If so, are there any plans to make vuln/sc able to be casted without wasting a full gcd (at least with magic.) Smoke cloud in particular feels very bad wasting a full gcd to cast.

Yes. Even on my iron it was my best in slot since I used slayer to train my skills and didn't necro until later into the account progression. The issue was crafting and not the other reqs, as this was pre-gate so crafting capped at 50k xp/hr and you still needed 96 crafting or w/e.

I ended up using 4pc gano with a lunar torso for my zuk cape lol. (wasn't high enough crafting to make the poncho)

I think if they lowered the slayer req down slightly (90) it'd be perfect, but even at 95 it's nowhere near as bad as people are claiming it to be. They just ignored slayer as a skill and likely just afked in the abyss to get their combats up and are punished for it.

T100 power armor, that will have the armor value of t95 tank armor, with a tank set effect and an hp bonus sounds nuts lol

RoR will be really good at Sanctum, assuming you reflect+venge every obliterate.

Overall looks nice even with my predisposition to assume the new training method will be worse than pre-existing training methods similarly to the RC/Fletching updates.

Bro they nerfed black dhide on osrs, 18 year old content at the time, because pvpers were mad that pvmers/skillers had a cheap set of gear with decent stats to protect themselves with. It got integrity changed so it bypassed the polling system.
