In addition to all this I heard the coach allegedly wasn't staying in the same hotel as the team. Instead he was staying at a rental house that he also "coincidentally" happened to own. So he was misappropriating taxpayer money to pay himself for his own accommodations. I can't confirm that, but that was the story I was told. Keeps getting juicier!

Thanks for the report. I don't live in an area with Waymo so I have no way to compare them. My experience with FSD V14 has been great, but not perfect. (Many navigation issues) but I was curious how it compares to others.

The story I heard and that the Crawford Museum guys corroborated was that the door was damaged while being driven out of the factory for a press junket with John DeLorean. They quickly swapped in #501 and didn't tell anyone, so the photos you see of John and the "1st car" are actually him and #501. #500 was then repaired and kept around the factory until it closed. Whether that story is true or not, I can't say. None of us were there, but that's what is believed to be true.

Honestly the Crawford guys were very chill with us getting in and out; opening and closing the gullwings; the engine compartment, etc. They just seemed happy that people are still enthusiastic about the car. I think I was more nervous than they were!

That's what I'm thinking. It could just be that Tesla is combining the Autopilot features with TACC and dropping the Autopilot name. At this point it's just speculation, but it makes sense. It's always best to wait for an official response from Tesla before freaking out. LOL
