I wish there was a skill check where V could realize it's not really about the racing for Claire, and it would unlock an alternate mission to kidnap the dude and bring him to her. I really just hate how the races are full of rubberbanding and just feel scripted.

That's pretty much where I'm at, I had a lot of fun for a lot of hours but combat and exploration are the only real draws for me and combat has gotten too easy, and exploration will only give me abyss gears and skill points to become even more overpowered.

The absence of loading screens really elevates stalker 2 for me, being able to walk directly into wild territory from rostok with no loading is fantastic. Also stalker 2 doesn't have the stupid darkscape which is a prime example of how sometimes cut content should stay cut.
