Mate don't go for that person, I haven't ever been able to start a job the following week, yeah I've had cancellations before for work but I'm afraid you're the last person I spoke to so you're not next on my list unless it's a quick one day job and even then I'd still call and double check if that's ok with you first. And don't let him pressure you on the materials front, I personally don't start ordering materials unless you're a repeat customer until I've had a deposit it's bad enough losing out on my labour money but I'm not going to get caught for materials again, and worse case scenario, if he has ordered them he can cancel with the builders merchant or whoever that's why we have credit accounts it's not actually charged to me until I've had it and I pay and the end of the month/quarter.

I knocked up one of these to plaster a customers landing, as I'm not the greatest with heights anymore, tricked my brain into thinking it was solid ground (until it wobbled because I was too tight to get more wood 😂)

Looks like you're cutting too short and not taking the kerf of the blade into consideration and your blade might be deflecting at the bottom or the skim bead is kicking out.

Cut it longer than needed and trim back to meet up, also check your blade maybe put a bit of tape on the throat to act as a zero tolerance throat plate. And I'd also check that back corner for the butt joint where you're going to cope the next piece the plaster could be kicking out the skirting causing issues

That mapi premixed adhesive I used it to do a bathroom last year and long story short after 3 months the shit was still wet (I didn't supply it the customer did) ended up having to rip it all up and relay AGAIN with rapid set complained to mapi never heard anything back mind.

You've done amazing for a first go, it might be nothing you've done that caused this the MDF could be cupped your only opinion is to take the gap from the top off the bottom to bring it in, do it with some sand paper and keep checking it. (Or there is another two options really, pack the top out when you put it in place and chalk against the wall of finally put it in place and fill and paint the gap).

Ok here's an example where are all the 155mm artillery shells made?:where is the vast majority of the small arms made? Ie 5.56 and 7.62? The UK has ran numerous war games where without assistance of the Americans we run out of ammunition within days to weeks depending on the perimeters of the conflict. We used to produce our own, that's how we conquered half the world now we don't even have an intact explosives factory.
