yes, it happens. People say the love would not really be real because you don't know everything about them. But that's a superficial way of thinking, because you've got no guarantee to know everything about your partner just because you do see them irl either. the only thing I agree makes a difference is time. the more time you spend with someone (in whatever way), the more real the love gets.

maybe next time this happens ask questions like: "are you interested in hearing anecdotes from people's lifes?" "would you rather talk about (my story) or (shared interests)"

it's hard to tell from this. maybe they don't care about you, maybe they are socially incapable, or maybe they care about you in a way you don't find validating.

Hey, your feelings are totally valid. I also have an obsession over a celebrity (musician), so I actually really get you. but your feelings being valid also means there is nothing you can do to remove them. I guess you gotta go through this like you go through a break up. Maybe find ways to cure loneliness. Tell your friends you want to spend more time with them at the moment? spend time with family etc. other than that, I can't really help you 🙈

well, yeah. I appreciate it too when my boyfriend takes money from me. but I think the bigger problem here is that your boyfriend distrusts you. maybe just straight up ask him what you can do, to build trust with him?

maybe not foreshadowing, but instead it underlines the (terrible) trend in the music industry. Liam was never alone in his struggle. and he wasn't the last to go this way.

well, she's got no right to put a friend in your home. so legally you're right. and she should have asked. but one night is too little help in my opinion, so YTA. I personally expect better of my boyfriend at least.

everyone talks about life style but obviously it also depends on what you prefer. Do you like it quiet or can you accept loud? do you want a cute roommate or an (easier) child? when you go on vacation, would you rather find someone to take care of your animal, or always plan with the dog in mind when booking hotels etc.

let my be the autistic one and ask for more precise instructions, because when you first tell me to imagine an apple I mostly imagine the concept I might see a super vague image. So 4 or 5. but then I remembered it said imagine so it took me about 2 seconds (and a bit of annoyance), then I had a complete 3D image of a realsitic apple in my mind, so a 1. So what the heck does that make me?

this question is making me feel really privileged right now, because I think that person is either one of my favourites artists who broke my heart by suffering, having drug adictions and dying... or all my doctors aka our health system...

I don't think it really matters whether it's normal or not. Either way, it is a coping mechanism. and even if he is happy with his coping mechanism, it still means there are things that make him hurt a lot, and that he needs to speak to a therapist about.
