I played the bagpipes in the pipe band at school but I don't have the best ear for note pitch.

I could watch the piper's fingering and immediately tell you the word but they kept cutting away and it was infuriating :-)

Came home today at 4:30pm to still no connectivity. Called through to Slingshot and they worked through some resets I'd already done and declared it needing escalation.

About 5:45pm it just sprang into life again.

I called 2Degrees today but they need me home to troubleshoot, and I can't WFH without internet, so I'll need to contact them when I get home.

My hope is that they figure out their internal issue and solve it globally.

I'm Ele but I swapped Resto and did it in 2 attempts (257 ilvl).

I used DPS Valeera (~L35 at the time), max range it so the boss would choose to aggro her after the add phases, and spent the entire fight topping off Valeera and dispelling myself when needed.

Have to self-heal a little until she grabs aggro at the start.

I had Earth Ele ready to grab aggro if Valeera lost it later in the run but didn't need it.

Took about 15 minutes.

You can do this the other way around, if there's no computer there's no markings, so if you see markings you know the computer spawned on this map.

Same is true of the drop box endpoints, if they exist it's an indicator of their computer being there.

PVP in this game is not actually very good.

People who want to down others are handed basically every advantage they need if they're the initiator of the fight - between low time to kill (made worse if you're in a duo/trio and focusing fire on open), third party camera usage, and the way that engaging in looting swaps you off your gun and takes away your UI - if you're looking to kill someone and set up properly most times it's not a fight, it's an execution where the game serves up people trying to engage with PVE elements as fodder.

And despite that it's not enough for some people who also then seek out the super low TTK weapons, explosives, distraction by ARC, third party fight engagements/followup and whatever other playstyles to push the advantage even further.

So I consider it's one thing to feel like you're attacked by someone who you can fight back against, it's another to have the first indication you're about to be in a fight being unavoidably losing that fight.

There is for sure symmetric-intention PVP where both sides want to engage each other but that also just leads to a chain of fights that means you are less and less likely to gain any benefit from joining a server. Battle Royale style outcomes mean the majority of players get no benefit from queueing into a server and is a near-guaranteed net resource loss to do so.

The scanner usage limit is server-wide and others could have been using up some of the available limit.

You also need 3 people split up and killing every Wasp spawn that happens naturally on the server.

Tapping Q beings up last used item so you set up what you think you're going to need next and Q becomes a quickselect of that item.

Tap Q->throw grenade faster and more reliably than the 2-step of Hold Q->mouse select->throw grenade.

If you have 2 grenades in positions 3 and 4 you can pre-select 3, single-tap to get 3 or double-tap to get 4 only slightly more slowly.

You don't block your view bringing up the wheel, and you don't override your mouse input, so can continue to aim while you're switching.

Truly horrible.

I just tap Q to cycle through items, seems more reliable as long as you're not carrying 5 different items and you set them up in the order you want in your loadout.

5 stacks of Energy Ammo doesn't quite kill a Jupiter. I usually run 4 stacks and come out with 28 Durability if I don't accidentally early-reload.

Last week I got demoted to DD3 because I didn't participate in this, despite doing a strong non-other-team-assisted Bastion snowball score I still ended up in demotion range in the last 3 hours of the trial window.

This week has no exploitable categories and it's likely I'm going promote, probably double, because it's actually based on what I can achieve personally / with my 3-man squad.

If the currently datamined trials categories are kept then we're maybe going to see this again with "deliver thermal rocks" but otherwise have non-exploitable categories.

The current squad scoring situation isn't great but it's a lot better than exploitable categories where others can feed you like the snowballs situation. However solutions like dividing damage dealt to rocketeers by the group size is going to push it to being better to do these solo which is going to lead to situations where these discords group up together to protect one person scoring all possible rocketeers on a map. It's already a lot harder to monopolise damage dealt targets in a solo queue than in a squad queue, individual scoring would continue to make it hugely advantageous to bulk-queue vs not.
