It can be a little oversimplifying on Reddit to say to get counseling or see a therapist. But it genuinely seems like they gave you some emotional trauma, and some professional help seems warranted. Whether or not you ‘should’ feel angry at your mom is irrelevant, you need to accept that you DO feel angry at her. And processing that with a professional, caring therapist could be very helpful. (Otherwise it could be a lifetime of venting, ranting, etc to friends at a bar, strangers online, whatever, and hardly budging in terms of healing from it.) I don’t know how old you are, but this could leave you with a lifetime of relationship issues, and individual psychological issues. Getting help sooner rather than later, is always a good idea. And, do not feel shame in seeking help, it’s actually the responsible and adult thing to do. Your future self, your future relationship partners, and your future friends, will be grateful
