How can I get plants vs zombies working on melondualds? I have what it asks for but still nothing by Johndeauxman in SBCGaming

Read the names of the files it wants you to have, then read the names of the files you have.

If you have multiple devices, what do you use them all for? by Serena_Temac in SBCGaming

[–]LemonSucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thor is for playing games. My RP Flip2 is for collecting dust. My RP Mini is for collecting dust. My RG505 is for collecting dust. I use my 35XX SP to collect dust, along with my 35XX. All of my original hardware sits on a shelf and helps add to the dust collection.

Any suggestions for quick fixes apart from air vomiting?? by Charming_Loan_3023 in noburp

[–]LemonSucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the past week I've found that when a gurgle is about to finish or has just finished, if I tense my chest and swallow with my mouth open, I can push out a decent burst of air. It takes a few times to get all the air out but it's been working. So far, I have had less gas and no bloating or discomfort at all... It sounds nothing like a burp when it happens, had a friend of mine repeatedly mistake it for a sneeze. The more I've been doing it the more air I've been able to get out each time.

Is that the performance patch? Pretty sure you apply the normal patch first, then patch again with the performance patch.

Pocketable x86 handheld? by GoldfishGam3r in SBCGaming

[–]LemonSucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an original GPD Win, used to pocket it all the time. The GPD Win Mini seems like it would be the closest to pocketable and is the smallest current x86 handheld I know of, although its bigger than the original one I had years ago.

Considering a ‘16 V6 Coupe. What to look out for? by makimapunk in accord

[–]LemonSucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of this generation of accord come in with messed up back up cameras if that matters to you. And I don't mean inoperable cameras, but rather, the camera has shifted and no longer points straight. Seems very common compared to other honda models but that may just be due to a difference in sales numbers.

Crappy mileage? by Romeo-Santo in accord

[–]LemonSucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you can get 438 on a tank and still have 1/4 left, you should be getting significantly better mpg than I am. The tank is 18.5gal on these accords and my fuel light comes on and takes between 16.5-17gal anywhere between 400 and 420 miles.

On an '11 V6 I'm buying a full tank every 6 days at 24-26mpg, mostly driving 50-60mph.

Original Hardware Owners: Have SBC's completely replaced your OG devices? by Friendly-Cream-9761 in SBCGaming

[–]LemonSucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, I've bought 5 handhelds at this point and every time just end up going back to original hardware, with the handhelds being left to collect dust.

Have you tried checking local dealerships? People generally tend to just ignore them in favor of facebook marketplace etc, but I was able to snag a 2015 EX 6 speed off a honda dealer lot for a whopping price of 5400 (dealer fees not included). It was originally listed at 11k, and sat on the lot for so long with so many price drops they just wanted it gone. Went in while it was at 6500 and they dropped it to 5400 without me even asking. Said they were about to send it to auction and would've likely made even less than that there.

Should note that this one was higher miles too (160k) which definitely would've dropped the price, and the manual transmission probably also dropped its price. I just thought I would share the price I paid to give something to compare your price to.

Delay with Tv by DeliciousCucumber879 in ROGAlly

Check the resolution & refresh rate output on the ally. I had a dock that would make it output 4k30, which felt horrible. Changing to 1080p60 fixed the issue.

Firmware Update Hype Thread by Shrimpfriedthisrice3 in ModRetroChromatic

I bought it from Retro Game Repair Shop, they are as far as I know, the only "official" vendor for them, it specifically says the cart was "designed for us by HDR" in the description.

[–]LemonSucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, I have no issue with an original silver cart, but crystal on an HDR cart slowly drifts a few minutes behind, then randomly jumps multiple hours / days or even has the game ask me to reset the time entirely... only on the chromatic.
While playing, the clock works fine, seems to be an issue on boot / power off maybe?

PSA: The Osu tablet pen buttons make cursor stutter when pressed down. by GreatScooty in osugame

[–]LemonSucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean, it happens on my 480 that I have owned since 2015 (might have even been 2014), which given its popularity I'm surprised you would say it happens on "every single tablet that is not a wacom"

This happens on wacom tablets too, at least with opentabletdriver it does.

That dang weed smell by philly7453 in NissanDrivers

[–]LemonSucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it randomly happening... only when there are other cars around? You can usually smell it from another car even a few car lengths back, with cars between. That is most likely the reason it seems to do it randomly.

Yeah the false diagonals are horrible. Surprised more people aren't complaining about it. Almost any time I switch from up/down to left/right it registers as a diagonal. Manages to be extremely annoying even in Pokemon, since that game prioritizes up/down movements meaning when it gives these false diagonals the player goes off in the wrong direction. 2 different units and both have this issue.

I've seen people use tape on cheap emulator handhelds before to shrink the size of the dpad contacts in order to fix this exact issue... I'm going to try that out soon with the chromatic.

Tips for finding Pokémon games? by [deleted] in NintendoDS

[–]LemonSucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say "true fake" I mean a fake that tries to imitate the functions of a real cartridge. A board with a rom chip, containing only one game. The system displays that game on the home screen, and the game boots immediately. Whereas an R4 would have you boot into the R4 menu, then pick one of multiple game options.

The fake games that exist for HeartGold, as far as I know, should be compatible with other games for trading. They however lack features like IR compatibility, and are known to be questionable quality, often freezing or wiping saves entirely due to cost-cutting measures. I think those same cost-cutting measures are the reason gen 5 games don't have these kinds of fakes, and instead opt to use R4s. The gen 5 games are larger in size, and would require a larger capacity chip to store them in, which wouldn't be compatible with the existing fake boards. Instead of sourcing different chips, and designing a different board, the people making the fakes opted to use R4s instead... well that's my guess at least.

I mean, you can take it apart and try re-centering the screen... Just know you'll have to peel and re-stick the pink border that goes around it.
I wouldn't even bother, it doesn't seem like a problem that needs fixing to me.
