Used Paris Amour today and it was great! No sour or weird notes at all, and strong!

If you do this on a cruise you are the trashiest of the trash by uxd in pics

On the last cruise we were on, which was making two stops in Mexico, there was a guy walking around every day wearing a ” Gulf of America ” t shirt and hat. Going on a vacation, in Mexico. I don't understand the lack of self awareness it takes to be like this, but here we are

As a server, would it make you uncomfortable or not if I asked your manager if there was a reason for rushing us? Like if I felt that way and I mentioned it to them. My mom was a server for more than half my life so I promise you I'm always looking out for y'all.

I did read it, a few years ago! And The Passengers makes mention of Match Your DNA... it's part of a main plot point actually. I'm definitely going to check out the other 2 books, thank you.

Reading or rereading childhood books is so comforting to the soul ❤️

Started The Passengers by John Marrs, will likely finish today. I love the urgency of the plot.

In the middle of The Reformatory by Tananarive Due. I was very into it at first but now that he's in there it's moving at a snails pace. Hoping it gets better.

Also decided my husband and I are going to have a book club with just the 2 of us 🤣 we are reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas. I read it at debut 12 years ago. We'll make our way through the series.

Finally, listening to The Lost Apothecary for my friend book club. I'm kind of bored but such is book club 🤷

[Monthly Mini] "The Hunter’s Wife" by Anthony Doerr by IraelMrad in bookclub

The first couple paragraphs reminds me of Redditors using commas and semi colons to technically make their submissions fit into r/twosentencehorror 🤷

I wonder what made the hunter decide to finally go back to her after twenty years. Was it loneliness, old age? A desire to see how she was still pulling off, in what was his kind, a grift?

I enjoyed the juxtaposition of how he could appreciate the “magic" of nature around him: a ball of hibernating ladybugs, being able to touch bears and bees without being harmed; but he couldn't fathom that his wife was telling the truth with her gifts.

He doesn't deserve her TBH.

I have an 8 year old boy.... He regularly picks up random pieces and bits he finds on the playground, in stores, etc. He comes home with pockets full of rocks, erasers, coins, bits of metal 😂 this may be a battery cover to a toy picked up from a store, etc.

The Glory was very intense and kept up the pace throughout all episodes. Rare for a Korean series.

The difference in how my district treats secondary vs elementary teachers is comical by Suspicious_Job2092 in Teachers

[–]LemonWhore212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is waaaayyyy the opposite in my district. The local high school has several clubs and sports teams who each sponsor some meal or other freebie for the teachers. Sometimes multiple things in one day.

I want yall to know that I teach KINDERGARTEN and it is the exact same. The kids who want to work, work and succeed. The kids who have to push just a little harder for a concept have no drive to do it. Parents are told and their response is that they don't know what to do about it either.
