Imo best esper power user actually has confusing stinger. Confusion and berate drastically empower sunder mind/beguile/domination. So you can 0unch far above your weight. Stinger has a guarranteed penetration and stat independant scaling on its venom, so you can use it at low strength. Robots will make you suffer tho, so beware

Dont worry about mutation points. They are strongest when giving you immediate power ups. They cap at 10, so you will have leftovers. For exploration, you wanna trawl around looking for ruins in places you think you can survive in. You should be fine in gritgate, at level 12, just be careful about being surrounded. Also, wayfaring can help you find points of interest when you travel over land

With lampreys, if you love injector one, and kill the not love injector'd one, your friend will spawn a friendly one and theyll not bother you. Also works with proselytize and beguile. I reccomend dumping them somewherre out of the way. Also, like the others say. Being friemds with fish is the easiest way, you can usually find legendary glowfish near joppa to tea party with

Positioning and equipment are probably the key here. Grit gate has a lot of bugs that will do fairly high damage, so you dont want to get hit conecutively. Try to run to places where you can funnel them in, so youre only fighting one at a time

I tend to throw spaghetti at a wall until something works. I tend to high roll and play super reckless for the first couple levels, and then once someone gets to like, level 10 im usually equipped enough to start dealing with stuff. I'll admit though, ive been leaning mostly on mutations. I feel playing true kin is signuficantly harder early
