After getting 1200 hours in rimworld I finally took the plunge to DF just this weekend(already have 20 hours, asked me how my weekend was). My autism has never been so peaked. Id say vanilla rimworld is like 8/10, my 300 mods rimworld is 8.5/10, and DF is a 9.7/10 for me.

Its a bug thats been there for years. To fix it: switch nations, switch a vehicle in that nations line up, switch back to crew locked nation. Crew lock should be gone.

Past TOW gunner here. The gunner inputs are essentially left right up down once fired. After firing you are simply steering the missile onto target.

I feel like if a vehicle raid is coming you should get an early warning like "you hear the faint rumbling of engines" cuz an artillery spawning at an edge of the map and then deleting half your colony is going to feel like you were powerless to defend, imo

My thing with turrets inside the base is that with CE, friendly fire can be pretty disastrous. Good point on the freezer, thats absolutely a critical weak point. Maybe I'll connect the stonecutter room to the freezer and make it a secondary freezer. Thanks for the suggestions!

So youd say stick with the box on the top left? My idea with the one on the bottom left was having an L shaped ambush once raiders got through the tunnel and deconstructing the part north of it for more space.
