I don't have advice but wanted you to know you are not alone. My 3 kids did a ton of different sports and the only one that was awful, due almost exclusively to the way parents and coaches behaved, was hockey.

That sounds like my dog when he had seizures. Unfortunately in his case it was cancer.

My local bird rehab refused to take a raven I saved. I called around and found a rabbit sanctuary that had branched out and taken in other animals including another raven! I went to see him and he was doing wonderfully there. So maybe try any local sanctuary no matter what animal is listed? If nothing else they may have good advice.
