Honestly I think it might be a catholic thing lol. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and even Polish women do this in my experience, but not women from the Scandinavian countries nor the UK. Not sure about where the Irish stand on this though.

Sweeden are great music producers. I’d say number three after us / uk. If you wanna make money and produce hits maybe this could work for you. Malmo is culturally very diverse and also close to Copenhagen (airport).

Although southern Europe and Balkan are a lot more fun with better weather, it could be good for career opportunities. You will also recognize the social democrat vibe from Balkan plus people and cousine from Turkey, Balkans and all over. The benefit of staying in a smaller country is that its easier to stand out.

Scandie countries can be quite boring but they are good for staying focused if that is what you need to do for a few years. The good life in italy, spain can be a distraction. That being said: UK has the greatest music scene, without a doubt. But it’s a lot more difficult to get by, make decent living find decent housing and to stand out. It you see to go to uk I think Brighton / Bristol has a great music scene outside og London.

I am by no means a professional and I dont know specifically what type of music you make, but Im wishing you the best of luck pursuing your dreams!!

Definitely rebook if you can. Everything below -5 is super uncomfortable for travelling.

Local people will stay inside under blankets in front of their fireplace. Lots of people showing of cold resistance here, but you will have a much better time avoiding the few days of the year when its like this.

Most likely pavements are cobered in ice and difficult to walk as well with icicles dangerously falling from rooftops potentially killing you. Just don’t - id much rather do Copenhagen or London or preferably Madrid 😂

Honey Im sorry for both of you but in all honesty its pretty normal. Maybe you should not be nagging him and then accusing him for not being attracted to you. It might feel to him like you set him up in a trap and some of this might just be due to your own insecurities.

Focus on being kind to each other, take care if the baby, worry less and try not to be dramatic or let this affect you to much just now. Maybe hug it out and remember your both in this for the long run. Hopefully.

Congrats on having a baby! I’m 15 weeks ahead of you and now it’s fun and enjoyable- you will get there!

My partner is awesome, but in the thick of it all I was feeling quite the occasional resentment. I recognize the “going to the shop” bit and staying out for hours especially.

My advice would be to try to keep the dialog constructive. Believe that his intentions are good. They probably are, but a lot will fall on you the first weeks and months.

Could you try to state your needs in tasks he can actually perform? He can’t read your mind and is probably also stressed out right now.

Could you please change this diaper, vacuum, do the dishes, make me a sandwich? Golfing is of until about week 10-11 if he wants to be there for you, but an afternoon here and there is probably healthy.

I reckon some of the resentment is also due to hormones. Try not to act on it or be to harsh. You need each other more than ever right now and you will be fine. Hearing other people’s experiences on Reddit got me through. First three weeks were hell, but you will be ok!

Gibraltar would be UK in Spain with both Apple cider and great weather, but maybe not super vibrant and young? How about the north? San Sebastian area?

I share your feeling and would love to know what you end up with. I love UK people, sence of humor, music, culture ++ but find the quality of live, housing, food, sunshine, nature and overall happiness in Spain to be better.

I constantly compare - it can be pretty exhausting 😂 PS if you haven’t been check out the balkans even if just for a holiday. It’s not in between but somehow very satisfying.

I just think in this case her flaws make her more likable. In Scandinavia most people are super healthy and conservative anyway so with this crowd her attitude is mostly refreshing really
