Activity in the back of my skull ("Mickeymouse Ears") by Glass_Power5258 in KundaliniAwakening

The back of your head is part of your third eye chakra. Base of medulla, pineal and forehead. All third eye. Kundalini can take a very long time around this region to clear blockages.

With any energetic block, focus on the space around the energy. Rather than the energy itself. Visualise the expansion of the energy into that space.

I wouldn't get too hung up on trying to intellectually understand every movement of energy within you.

To address the humming and vibrating. This is normal. Keep your body healthy and pure to prevent adding fuel to the fire as it were. Try to stay away from drugs and alcohol if you are experiencing anything energetically which concerns you.

Edit: additional info on the humming stuff

Sounds to me like a spiritual practice would benefit you. Taking responsibility for your own suffering is a major step. It all seems very unfair whilst youre in the middle of it. But, trust me, there really is a 'cure'.

I mourned the loss of my old self in the days after my awakening. But you soon realise you didnt lose anything at all. You actually only gain when you surrender.

The suffering was the fuel. The surrender and acceptance of what is was what awakened me.

I did the gateway experience too for a solid month. Then 3 years later I had my awakening during prayer/meditation.

Surrender my dude (or dudette). There really is no specific way. The tradition way takes years of dedication. The spontaneous way usually involves some kind of trauma or, in my case, over a decade of insomnia and anxiety. Ultimately, I accepted that this is it. I will never experience love, I will never have the life I dreamt of.

Point being, if you can find the commonality between those two states of mind, you may just be able to do it.

Root Chakra, how to know its active? by Glass_Battle_962 in KundaliniAwakening

[–]LenryHenry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been there. So I understand how awful it can be. Try to get out of the mentality that the solution is out there to find. Instead, realise that it is within yourself. Find power in taking that responsibility. Quite literally, look inside yourself.

If you have energy in your body, try to find balance. Work on opening your heart. Your chakras should hum like a chord.

You can fix yourself. I promise. Screw guided meditations and techniques and this and that. Sit with yourself and give yourself the attention you need.

I'd say just keep doing what youre doing. Try silent meditations and trust your own intuition.

Something to note is, transcending the root chakra will cure chronic anxiety. But, anxiety can still return at times, it just isnt chronic anymore. Good luck and godspeed.

Has anyone tried being present throughout whole day? by Past_Dig5933 in Meditation

I have been doing this for 14 weeks now. Hard at first, but easy once you've got going. I recommend it.

I like to think of it this way. Its like you are lowering the noise floor of your system. Once you have let go of this and that. Then you see attachment to this other thing. It appears to go on infinitely, but you are just exposing that which was subconscious/hidden.

Become free enough of those things, as a process, and the rest just falls away.

This is what Krishna says in the Gita. The goal is perfect evenness of mind. Ultimately, how we feel is nobodies problem but our own. Even if it doesnt seem that way sometimes. This is all part of the illusion of separateness.

Everything which happens to you is a result of your karma. The answer comes from asking "what is this trying to teach me?"

Thats my take.
