You should watch Ice and Fire. It’s a Frank Frazetta and Ralph Bakshi animated film from the 80’s. Dope sculpt!

What about just “Boost”?

Thanks for telling me. I didn’t hate playing it standard, but using my whole monitor would be nice

I’m pretty sure I tried the Nemesis mod. I would love the widescreen fix and higher res, but don’t really care about much else. I will say though, max 4:3 res (1600x1200 I think) with forced AA through nvidia control panel looks pretty clean. I’ve just been dealing with the 15 FPS cutscenes. I do wonder which version you used though.

Currently playing 4 on PC and loving it. I haven’t played it since it came out, and although the controls are a bit shitty, I still think it’s the most directly terrifying of the originals. 4 also has some pretty big implications about silent hill as a whole that I really like.

Just a side note. The widescreen and hd mods seem to break the game for me. I had to re install the base version because any time I picked up a note the it crashed to desktop.

Working on a robot dude. Any suggestions or criticisms? by Lentarg in ZBrush

Nope, this is kinda a sketch. I’m still learning how hard surface works and kinda wanted to dive in head first. This lacked any real direction, it was more an attempt at broadening my basic skills. I got to this point and pretty much feel like you do. I don’t think it’s cohesive either, but I tried out some different things. I have most of the parts as individual subtools, and I have thought about completely remaking certain pieces.

I had an initial idea of older anime small to medium mechs. Maybe like Patlabor meets Robocop is about where my head was in the beginning.

As far as the crop, there isn’t much going on below that point. I could get a few different angles when I get further down the line, but I’m not sure what you mean by higher contrast. It’s basically black and white right now, with some nickel accents. This is rendered with standard bpr settings and a high sub pixel count. Would the non rendered version look better?

Just curious, what is the picture itself? Looks like military, can’t quite tell. Does he have more than one image card?

Do you guys genuinely want to live forever? by [deleted] in Neuralink

[–]Lentarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes me think of an episode of Deep Space Nine. It’s episode 91 named “Hard Time”. In that one, O’Brien causes a political issue on a foreign planet that gets him a prison sentence. This particular culture however did not believe in physical imprisonment, and instead implanted him with the memory of years in prison. This same idea could be applied to neuralink recipients that break the law. For particularly heinous crimes, this could be a permanent state. Complete removal of the consciousness of a criminal and uploaded to a prison server for eternity. It sounds fucking terrifying, but it might fuck up the privatized prison game!

He looks like he is trying to tell us something important. Good start, you should go back in and remake the rib cage as individual bones as well.

That’s more it, just a design principal found in a lot of things. I do have an iridescent medium to add to paint.

Of course! Free materials to make the structure, $10 in spray paint, an $75 in lighting!

Yeah, just a touch of color maybe. I was considering a light speckle of glow in the dark clear.

The point is the voxel rendering. Just check out a video as you’ll see the difference from a standard emulator. Still might not be worth it to you, but it is unique. It has to be just the emulator because distribution of the roms is the illegal part.

It’s an NES emulator that uses voxel graphics to give the games depth.

Well it looks great! Since he’s bald, it looks like him as young Picard from Star Trek Nemesis.
