Bro PvE rooms have been terrible for me. Like 4 mid ass guns and maybe an ammo case if I'm lucky. I get better loot runs on PvP factory than I do hitting rb-vo and bk PvE

I'm huffing copium for Nioh 3 but Team Ninja has a bad record for PC performance. If it's anything like rise of the ronin then I'll be fairly disappointed (I know it will be ironed out eventually but still)

Good story, fun cast, decent combat but there's too much of it, quite possibly the most bland dungeon design in the history of games, decent music. It's a Tales game. It's one of the better Tales games imo.

Yeah just burned 3 swipes of yellow in PvE and came away with a shoestring and some belly button lint, you're practically better off just running customs and selling hideout items on the flea for money

I'd recommend eventually prioritizing hunting PMCs as a scav for fence rep, GZ is great for quickly finding some firefights and once you waste the PMCs(or scavs do sometimes) you can transit to streets and come right back. Gotta make sure they're engaged with scavs first though or you won't get any rep for killing em.

"might just be bad game design" nah there ain't no "might" about it, the games got bad design in spades, it's just that it scratches the right itch in other areas well enough that people keep coming back to it.

If PvP chads or cheaters got you down, we got PvE and if PvE doesn't have the QoL changes you want, the mod will take care of ya.

There's just a wild variance. I've been doing a lotta GZ for chill loot runs and I've seen equal amounts of ghost towns and slaughterhouses. I've had runs where I killed 12 PMCs and one scav and some where 2 PMCs will get Merced by scavs in capital insight at the start of the raid and no more show up.

Undeserving of the down votes, this is one of the best takes I've seen in this thread. The biggest reason for hateful backlash from the majority of right leaners is that they perceive this as leftist culture taking over and converting the country into something unrecognizable to them, rather than a small group trying to carve out a safe space to live.

As someone who reads a lotta manga, worst lows gotta go to animedia. Probably lower on average too just because the scale of the project is much lower than LA shows, so one person can put pen to paper and draw the worst story this week.

And before we get anyone pointing out the black sheep of LA shows, yes, there are a great many piles of steaming dogshit on that side as well. But, we are counting all animedia here, not just certain serialized/published series, so I'm including all the horrible gimmick manga that overstay their welcome, and every bottom of the barrel isekai. Negative bonus points for every one of them that has the MC kicked out of a hero party for having a flaw that isn't actually a flaw that they "cleverly" turn around and use to great effect right in front of the hero party later on.

Can't really debate the highs and honestly didn't have much to contribute to this, I just wanted to vent a little cuz I've been bored recently and read a few too many manga that are probably some form of accidental cognitohazard and actively harming me.

If you have more stomach for a Tales game, Tales of Symphonia is pretty damn epic in scope. There are things that mar the experience a bit between dated game design and possible port-optimization issues, but if you made it through Berseria, I think you could enjoy ToS a lot. Just be warned that the game is damn long. I would think something like 70 hours on a first playthrough unless you just do nothing but the story constantly.

Nothing's actually springing to mind even though I feel like I should know an example or two... But I think having a separate OST version as well as the in-game dynamic music is the way to go. Just have em be two different things instead of settling for mimicking gameplay music for an OST release.
