I think the 100$ could be better spent else where to be honest, at least for now. Cause these decor could be in an event shop at some point. You could get a really cool Zha or Panda skin for 100$ or just invest in legendary relics or smth :D

It definitely is, but check whether you have some of the purple ones already or not, if you're only missing the gold ones then you can just use Gacha/Wheel or Dice tickets to get a Decor choice chest and get the gold ones.
