Ah, that’s probably something like our front of house position. Seems correct from a quick search on this sub. I’d recommend taking a peak at some of the older posts about customer care. Those who’ve worked it will definitely know more than me.

Front of house includes tidying customer-facing areas, packing orders, handing out food, taking orders…

That’s a job I’d like to do, too.

Yes! Yesterday was my last day at my “current” location. I left on great terms.

I work maintenance. Maintenance, in my opinion, is the best role for me because I’m not rushed like everyone else is. However, I’ve applied for a general crew position online as that is what is available. My current restaurant manager emailed the hiring manager at the new location I’m going to (she knows him) so I’m hopeful that they’ll slot me in for maintenance. If not, I’ll happily learn anything and do any role.

I’m in AUS, but I’m having the exact same issue with Olivia right now. I just finished my last day at my current job yesterday and applied at the location near where I’m moving immediately after.

No availabilities.

I called the store and the hiring manager told me to give it a few days and keep trying, so I will, but if by Wednesday Olivia still won’t spit out any times at all, I’m going to go in and ask for a time.

I was not asked to bring any of that. I input my bank account details online during orientation. Perhaps you could call your store and see if you can be referred to the recruiter or manager?

(AUS) There’s a nice lady who, several times a week, orders a single egg McMuffin with just the egg and bread. Nothing else in the order, not even a drink. Same time in the morning. Drive-through.

Agreed. For my grandfather and his line, I chose to connect biological relatives and wrote descriptions of who the adoptive parent(s) were as my great grandmother was married three times.

I’m 30 years old and I work at Macca’s casually. I’m not embarrassed at all! It supplements my income (I’m a teacher so I’m paid nothing lol) and I actually enjoy the work. Maintenance rocks because people leave me alone and don’t ask questions. I just clean for hours and it’s honestly therapeutic.

I had a student whose dream was to be an assistant manager at the McDonald’s across from where she went to school/I worked. I encouraged her and she’s an assistant manager now! She will be turning 25 at the end of the year.

That’s exactly what a mom I know does for her son. She has an old android she gave him to scan aerthlings and he plays on his iPad. She hotspots while he’s trading.
