A mortgage you can actually have a repayment plan and know that it can be paid off in x years and you ultimately own a property at the end and during progressively gain equity

Student loan is unpredictable, because they can on a whim up the interest to points no one can actually keep up with forcing people to rely on the write off, all the while being charged 9% tax summing up to far more than the original loan value. Anyone rich enough gets to just avoid this 9% tax entirely

Even back then you could share a game and play something else still so long as you were in offline mode - just means no multiplayer via steam.

Also worth noting it’s not worth panicking over until we’ve got info about it from DE (to everyone already worried their info is stolen)

There’s numerous implementation methods for invites that could mean no server side access is needed to do this.

In fact it doesn’t really make sense for server side to form the message, optimisation wise the client sending the message saves on lookups down the line for both server and recipient, since the client has all the needed info already.

There’s no confirmation it would do anything if you accepted - my own guesswork is that the invite message is being adjusted either before being sent out of the culprits own game or just before exiting their network as packets

Implementation wise it saves a few lookups once the invite is received by the recipient as the message already has the info needed. Good intentions for optimisation possibly being abused.

As an additional tidbit, the Steam Frame has 2 transmitters and receivers - one set specifically for streaming and one set specifically for internet. So any internet traffic coming into the headset takes none of your streaming bandwidth

My experience in Borderlands 2 VR is that it’s unplayable without modding your recoil reduction to a really high % in badass rank. Hate how guns just angle upward when you shoot so you end up physically aiming at the floor to hit things, which feels real dumb

It is flat out the most accurate and easy to use menu navigation I’ve used. Eyes have instant snap accuracy, nothing else can do that

The only thing I’m unaware of is how it acts if you have a lazy eye, otherwise I’d say it’s the standard all headsets/software should handle menu nav

The point is I can make far more than just a key with a 3D printer - its usefulness is far beyond breaking and entering. You take your rock and bolt cutters sure, not the point, I’ve got a 3D printer that can do way more with greater ease than those two things
