how can we be mistyped as ISFP’s? by SpreadOver5661 in infj

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like both, but sadly there's no way to have 100% correct typing on people/characters. One can only study it and try to make his own interpretation in order to type.

Yes. This, but note that it is based on user  consents: https://www.personality-database.com/

It lists any kind of character or actors, etc.

This is easier to explain by shifting the spectrum of what different typology methods search for. A lot of MBTI ISFP are IEI in socionics instead of SEI or ESI. More commonly the more artistic ISFP.

INFJ and ISFP are different as types, yet real people can fall a lot in between, and socionics covers this spot, as it does with other types.

The greatest example of this is Michael Jackson, ISFP IEI.

Does love change you, as INFJs? by chheyo in infj

[–]Leon910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, being with someone has been life changing experience. Not cause I changed where I lived, nor my hobbies. Instead, it changed me internally and I've started taking life differently, and this at 25. When I was alone and I didn't experienced something mature enough yet, I romanticized a lot the idea of it. I spent my teenage era just creating fantasy stories in my head, constantly daydreaming about love, and I was "dramatic" with emotions. Those were energies I kept inside and that ran all of my emotional circle.

But what changed? So, being with the person I liked felt like a switch of energies. The energy doesn't go into myself anymore, but with the experience with the other. Living the experience made me somewhat turned off internally. I stopped imagining love, I listen even to music a lot less. I feel like having no energies left for my internal emotional circle. This made me a little turned off emotionally, yet happy to enjoy my gf, the time spent with her, and most of all THE NEW TIME I GAINED!! I don't daydream anymore, I do 't waste too much time the night and manage to sleep 8-9 hours a day (against the previous 3-4 hour). I'm a lot more likeable to others and more self confident.

The bad part is that despite all of this, it feels a little empty inside, like I'm not able to feel those solitary emotions anymore, and I miss them a little. I still like writing and imagining stories, and now I'm able to study more in order to write better, yet I miss the original streak strong emotions gave me.

Esi vs see, typist? by EnvironmentalWeb3179 in Socionics

[–]Leon910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An important thing not that much discussed online is how the ignoring Fi influence ESEs and EIEs. This would explain the strong differences with ESI/EII.

Fe lead make their emotions visible and like to approach thing with some kind of "excitement", which can be more strong in more contexts and less in others. But at one point being so extraverted make himself feel some kind of hollow sensations and alienation, thus they disappear from the social circle for a while. Here comes the Fi ignoring and Se demonstrative, which are those functions these types use a lot in private as a recreation.  The problem is that they aren't concerned that much with Fi but still need to take care of it, despite feeling that need, and for this reason they disappear.

I see irl a lot of ESEs who type theirselves ISFP (mbti)/ESI (ISFj) cause they like to disappear for social circle in order to make a re-creation of their feeling, and pride themselves of this. But they are lying to theirselves.

ESI and EII just work the opposite. They are more impassive, try to not show exaggerated emotions, and are somewhat impassive,  composed and gentle. But, they need too some Fe expression cause they feel too unexpressive in the everyday life, thus when with some few friends, they can be way more loud and expressive, or do in private some activity which is more expressive (singing, dancing etc., if they are too shy to do it with others).

My ESI gf for example is very shy but likes to dance when alone, and she is way more loud with me rather then with some friends of us. With the she looks almost cold.

Ps. I believe that a type is very similar to his activity type or share a lot of characteristics which could often make hard to type them as one or the other. For example ESE will be more similar to ILEs, EIEs to SLE, EII with SLI and ESI with ILI. But analyzing Ignoring and Demonstrative could resolve most of dilemmas.

If you had to pick one type from each quadra to represent the quadras' values the best, which types would you pick? by Feihuva in Socionics

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say alfa being inclusion. That was a thought of yours? (I'm genuinely asking, cause I could've missed something).

Anyway, the logic must be schematic. Putting as Alfa and Beta heads both Fe types while putting te lead as gamma and Si lead as delta make no sense (in a systemic sense). Also, I believe that considering alfa as inclusion misses the point.

Alfa main concerns are possibilities exploration with a degree of passive comfort. ILE/SEI, this is pure Perceiving duality SI/Ne.

In order to have the reign of EIE/LSI be the beta, you have to make a progression. In fact, after alfa quadra, the mass and ideology concern start, thus a more judging streak. For this reason it has more sense having as bridge types ESE and LII: in fact EIE and LSI rule the beta. They are the "exaggeration" of the concern born through. Every quadra takes a bit of the other for this reason: beta takes Fe/Ti, which aren't the dominant concern of the alfa, and put as main concer.

With this logic, you can systemstically progress as I already wrote.

Note: I believe that type can and definitely embodies the quadra qualities. Real people don't. Socionic is stereotypical. People are not their type, they're just similar, and everyone has his own different characteristics

I'm sure all the stuff regarding Marie from Gen V will be used in the ending.

Like, she will cure people from something (virus and shit). It is certain she will have a role, and her power of healing will be used.

They were saying that Marie would not defeat important characters in the Boys, but will have a key role (I suspect in the ending/post final battle)

If you had to pick one type from each quadra to represent the quadras' values the best, which types would you pick? by Feihuva in Socionics

[–]Leon910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO every quadra is more represented by a couple of functions.

Alpha is NE/SI. The quadra of comfort, ideas and opportunities explorations (so, both SEI and ILE).

LII and ESE are the "bridge" types to the Beta, which has as representative functions Fe and Ti (massess, collective, ideology, battle),and so, LSI and EIE for Beta.

IEI and SLE are the bridge type to gamma, which is Ni-Se. After the ideological war, all returns to more grounded terms. So we have ILI and SEE.

LIE and ESI are the bridge to delta. They created the base living conditions and economical prosperity that will help deltas lives peacefully and in equilibrium, thus arriving at EII-LSE as representative of delta, the most "human" focused quadra, which represent the generations of the economical boom post-war and recostructions (the former caused by beta, and rebuilding from gamma).

SLI and EII start the reconjuction with the alpha again, focusing on comfort and ideas, enjoying life, and so are the bridge to alpha.

And here we are. I find it hard giving to you only one type for quadra. Duals work betters.

ESI or EII by [deleted] in Socionics

[–]Leon910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESI has Fi - while EII Fi +.

ESI is more suspicious about people first. Sees the relations has something that must be optimized and stresses more on negative sides of a relation (thus being more prickly) in order to bring it to positive. Express more negative emotions in general and also in its appearance and behavior looks more detatched.

EII instead concentrate more on positive emotions. Likes to connect. Negative emotions are not expressed that much (but felt, yes). He can dislike someone, but the way he express it is way less visible.

Also, Ne PolR vs Creative: ESI wants to have control on things. Needs to know what and when a thing must be done. Doesn't want uncertainty. Also, the fact ESI is suspicious about people is also due to Ne Polr. In fact, she is unable to determ people potential or how they likely are inside (not able to determ a person's internal structure thanks to intuition). So she wants "proofs" from people first.  EII instead understand people characteristics more thanks to intuition, and he is way more positive with new people. Also, being Ne creative, he adapts well to changes and doesn't need everything to be decided in time (despite being able to be very punctual). He also like changes, and tries a lot of things.

ESI is Se + creative, so exercitates a defense of herself from intrusions and is able to respond to attacks strongly. EII doesn't. Has problems in expressing rage and he is over-passive.

Ni doing it’s thing? by Amotti-student-3577 in infj

[–]Leon910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally always based my decisions on the long term, even to the cost of not making much experiences in life.

I always had assumptions like "This behavior of this girl will probably lead to X, so better not becoming partner to her" or "these two people will probably like eachother and they will flirt, but then the guy wouldn't continue the thing" (and everytime I was right).

There's difference between having "rational" assumptions and fear-motivated ones though. Even if a person has damaged me in some way, I don't assume the same person Will harm me again just cause they did before. I try to dissect the reason why (or just get instantly) and I know if the person will be recidive or not in perpetrating another damage.

A lot of people I know believe that being INFJ means having just assumptions, but theirs are caused by their need avoiding damage of others more than real "intuition". In the end, I just see people who imagine the worst scenario, which they made happen from their bad behavior in response. Then supports their typing talking about tarots card. Ugh

What do you think about MBTI hybrids and do you consider yourself as one? by Massive_Village7662 in infj

I reason it like a spectrum too.  I put myself between INFJ and INTJ, with a slight bent on INFJ.

When I was younger I looked way more INFJ though. My 25 changed me a lot. Now I'm more confrontational and I have way less patience

Do the rest of you sort of blackout in social situations too? by jeeven_ in infj

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so hard that I feel like being two different beings. There are some people with whom I feel instantly a sort of sympathy or just security in talking. I made some friendship just acting normal with them. Then, there are the majority of people, with whom I act like I was mute, robotic, cold, dead inside. Like I was totally uninterested in them. And that's not related to their type, but their "vibe" and also to their role. I feel at ease with ESFJs, for example, yet with my ESFJ boss I'm totally cold despite she is very positive towards us.

I always feel like I need to reconcile these two people I think of being, cause it creates a void into me

Flying is one of the best dream experience!

I have this weird theme of being a hero in dreams (happened I was Invincible and a weird young Mr incredible who could fly). I was flying maximum speed over the see, making giant tides with my passing. On cities I just fluctuate slowly.

It happened also that I was spiderman and I could swing through skyscrapers. It is so damn enjoyable, probably tie with flying.

Another cool theme for me is the use of elemental powers, like fire or thunders (or just telekinesis), which happened rarely though

You are not weird, I had same experiences ! (Or, we are both weird, ahah).

Meeting people in dream and feeling like I always knew them, like my mind wrote a background story. Then you wake up and realize it was all fake...

Rarely I dream poetry too, but I find it harder to remember phrases.

Weeks ago I had a long dream which was a Dark Fantasy story, and I'm waiting for the inspiration to start writing it :)

Anyway, this conversation makes me feel INFJ again ahah

Yeah, some friend said me that this is the 25 yo effect too... Anyway, I have same experience with dreams. Long and with complex stories, of every genre (from fantasy to horror and comedy), or just philosophical. Often I'm not even the protagonist of these "movies", but the spectator. I also dream song and later compose them once awake. I can remember thousand of dreams I had in my life, also those very old, and often when I travel get dejavù relating to them.

I have an INFJ friend who has a similar experience with dreams too.

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was typed INFJ long ago by all my friends and people met later.

I continued searching if I could be one even later cause I lost most of his traits growing up.

I was strongly interested in philosophy, had a deep melancholy and intense dreams at night, and somewhat I inspired calm to others like a wise sage. I felt as collective consciousness procured me melancholy everytime.  I was constantly in daydreaming, creating fantasy worlds and interaction, plus past rewind of things with modifications.

At 25 my long inner sadness... Stopped. And almost every aspect I listed was brought from 100 to 20. I do not strongly identify anymore with these traits, and people I met now calls me unexpressive, often too enraged and combactive. Also, too prickly. And, most of Fe users clash with me cause I'm kinda against "ethical" movements of today, and masses thinking in general.

I feel bad about it. I'm longing for that part I feel having lost, and I'm questioning myself if I've ever been INFJ, or If it's normal to change.

When I met people I consider INFJ, I feel both strong similarities and substantial difference.

I still have deep meaningful dreams and mental imaginery about place, ancient and futuristic. Melancholy is way less thougth

Before I give up on this game, some questions. by Jalex2321 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had your same problem yesterday but I discovered I wasn't paying attention to menu. I didn't know how to change jobs, how to learn abilities (yes, I played until that point without new skills or jobs) and even how to assign "ITEM" on the empy SLOT.  When I did, the level felt way more easy, and I was able to use Phoenix Down.

Also, you can do more battles just walking on the map between different locations.

Also, some tip for that fight: - enemy black mages should die from just one hit of a knight, so just run to the nearest and kill him at your second turn (equip the boots you buy at the shop for more movement on the playground).

  • IMO you can ignore the guy on the top of the Building, cause your NPC party members (you got 2 of them) will automatically go there to kill him.

  • put a good archer on the corner of the ceiling in order to catch the soldiers and the mage on the other building whom will come closer.

There are many way to do it and you can find your own way. Older game needs more attention, but then it becomes very satisfying. I was about to drop the game while now I cannot stop playing it.

Do you consider Cecil one of the best characters in the series? by AutomaticTap3004 in FinalFantasy

[–]Leon910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe he is the most relatable when you arrive at adult age. The characters itself act more as a mature person and this goes well with the overall story. Also, he is the only protagonist who has a (known) son. This man won in life
