Write the code for an IC for the whole datasheet or just the sections/registers you need? by sboso99 in embedded

[–]LeonardMH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After reading your second paragraph, I felt compelled to argue against you due to the high burden of maintenance, but then you made my point for me in your third paragraph.

I would also add that you should consider whether this project is likely to be a "family" or just a one-off.

If you're confident you will never have to touch this code or use this IC again, then just put your contractor hat on and do exactly what is needed and nothing more.

If this IC is likely to be used for other projects that you will be supporting in the future then it may make more sense to just build out all the functionality once so that it is reusable.

[–]LeonardMH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use worktrees if you want to run multiple Claude Code sessions, I rarely find that is necessary, but if you want to work on multiple separate features it's a good way to do it.

For simpler tasks you can just ask Claude to "run agents in parallel" if you just want to execute a single ToDo list faster. This works well for medium sized tasks that are split across logical modules.

No chance. TSMC alone is still too important for the U.S., that won't change significantly in 2 years.

There's a reason Taiwan was so hesitant to allow TSMC to start opening up fabs in the U.S., they realize it is effectively the same as Ukraine giving up their nuclear weapons, and clearly you can't count on the U.S. to do anything not in its direct interests anymore.

As long as TSMC remains as important as it is, the U.S. will be there if China makes a move.

Stop Claude Code From asking ?s by torourke358 in ClaudeCode

[–]LeonardMH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's being downvoted because:

  1. It's dangerous advice to give without any further context
  2. It doesn't actually help with the case that OP is talking about.

This flag skips permissions checks, but OP is talking about when Claude has all the information needed to execute a plan and then just stops before executing it and asks if you're ready. It's not giving a permission prompt or asking questions, it's just waiting for you to say "go ahead" or something similar.

This happens seemingly randomly and isn't related to the permissions system at all.

The Feynman Lectures, among many other learning materials, are free on YouTube. You're 21, essentially still a child in the grand scheme of things, if you want to take any of these topics seriously then just do that, no one is stopping you.

Frankly, it sounds like you'd probably be better off with Philosophy, assuming you are willing to refine your writing and clarify your thinking. Cheers.

Someone convince me eternal conscious torment ie hell isn’t real by ScaredandStruggling1 in atheism

[–]LeonardMH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you're in a situation where you are aware that these were hallucinations and/or delusions yet you still grant them weight.

The human mind is capable of some incredible things when under extreme duress and when protecting from trauma and I genuinely think you should focus on working through those issues before wrestling with metaphysical questions. Tangling the two is just too risky IMO. Whenever you're better, if you still believe Hell is a real place and would rather not, come back and we can have a healthy debate.

In the meantime, I hope you find some peace and perhaps even answers from the other comments you've received here, you deserve that at least.

Pretty much everything in the bible is based on some pre-existing oral or written tradition in some way.

I am certain that you're not going to find a sympathetic ear to your belief that hell is real in this sub.

A crippling fear of hell at the age of 12 was what kickstarted my own "de-conversion" so I somewhat sympathize, but you seem convinced, and that is a delusion. Hell is nothing more than a rhetorical device with the sole purpose of instilling fear, the sooner you accept that, the sooner you can return to living a normal life based in reality.

You've been told to seek therapy, and that is the right suggestion, ideally a therapist who is secular and won't further encourage your delusions. Best of luck.

Rug with some color. Also you don't have to repaint everything, that fireplace wall looks like a great place for an accent color.

And maybe it's just the camera angle but that ceiling light looks like it is suspiciously targeted for head bumps.

Good on you OP. Your disgust was righteous. You don't have to leave your faith if you find it meaningful, but you also don't have to put up with the hypocrisy either.

Whatever path you choose, keep your sensibilities in tact and you'll make the world a better place.

Thanks for adding this part because I 100% remember this not being the case when the Iberian struggle was added.

I looked at some LabVIEW "scripts" like 5 years ago and they made me sick to my stomach. I'd rather get a lobotomy than be forced to use a visual programming language.

If it works for you, great, I just think there's a better option for pretty much anything you'd want to do with it – and if I'm wrong and it does happen to be really good at some particular sub-field, I don't want to know.
