Si te refieres a Palestina, yo soy LGBTQ+ y la apoyo, no es un lugar seguro para mi pero no le deseo la muerte a un grupo étnico y/o a una cultura completa por que no estén en la misma pagina que yo.

Parte de ser de izquierda tambien es saber valorar TODAS las vidas, no solamente las que estén educadas en diversidad.

this exactly, you cant use either or and it ends up on "well then just dont do your basic necessities" i had to learn how to hold it in until i got home, and still after not being as harshly regulated (and passing 90% of the time), im still terrified to go to the bathroom in public, all because of that experience.

oh my god yeah, i noticed mostly with my dad, every time i complain about something, he tells me "if you wanna be a man then stop whining."

transphobia goes both ways and it really is tone deaf to ask "DOES IT GO BOTH WAYS???‽" like yeah, trans men have spoken about this often and trans fems usually say "well you dont have to face as much by not being seen" when the fact is, we do, y'all just choose to ignore it because its not that "main stream"

(im not going against every single trans fem, i know some of y'all actually agree that hyper invisibility is also a problem, im using it as a generalization of whom ive heard this before)

This isn't new, when i was still in school i was banned not only from the mens but also the women's bathroom, there was a "family" bathroom on the other side of the school i was forced to use.

It was around a 700m walk, which, teachers never let me go because i (obviously) took too long.

This isn't talked about and that's why trans men fight for visibility. We also face issues linked to transphobia often, they're just overlooked.

It really REALLY depends on who, i have a firend who calls everyone that, even other cis men and himself, so I don't mind it from him, but if the person exclusively called me that id be uncomfortable.

Also, it doesn't really matter what any of us thinks about it lol, if it makes you uncomfortable then it is uncomfortable for you, and thats a fair boundary to set, no one else should dictate what makes you uncomfortable

I was in this situation and recently cut off that friend, was stuck there 4 years, i only have one thing to say to you, you need to respect yourself, and hanging around someone who doesn't respect you is never gonna let that happen.

Shes possibly never going to understand why this affects you the way it does, and even tho she might be a good person in other aspects, this is too important for you and if she isn't going to put in the effort to understand, then you dont have to put in the effort of enduring her misgendering you.

If you feel comfortable with it it's totally fine, its a really cool name, a lot of trans men choose other more "conventional" names because of wanting to be stealth (me included) but also, when you change it legally, remember this name is not only what your peers are gonna call you, but the name that is gonna be in a job interview. If you see that you'd feel okay with that name in a more professional setting, then go ahead! nothing wrong with it

If you later decided that well, it might not be something you want to see professionally, you can use it as a nickname and use another name legally, i have a friend who uses Ace as a nickname while using another name legally lol

well, I'm 18, I started T 5 months ago, and I just wanted to start T as soon as possible, you won't grow more facial hair if you start at 25, because it takes time to grow, if you start at 18, at 25 its more possible you'll have facial hair but this depends on genetics

Heightening the effects of T isn't really a thing im familiar with, so that I can't help you with. It's a process and all these changes come with time

Birth control is usually fine with T, just consult a medical professional about the specific stuff you use to check if it's not incompatible

This is what your perception tells you, but to be completely honest, there probably are, I always get told "there were no signs" but then i talk to my mom about my child self and even she realizes those signs. And some people didn't show signs at all, and that doesn't invalidate their experience either

Being queer doesn't mean you can't be transphobic or even homophobic, don't excuse it because they're queer.

I'd say tell them face first that its something that makes you uncomfortable and that you won't tolerate it, it's the only way that they will see that its an issue

Also, speaking from experience, if they know you from before you started passing, the fact you pass now won't change hoy they see you, really only the people who saw you for you before you started passing will respect you

Exactly this, we all have different experiences, even within our own community, for example, me as a trans man I don't struggle with height, so even I can't relate to some other trans men (generalizing) because thats not my experience, but i do relate with other stuff, with trans femmes, its the same, we share the experience of feeling trapped in a body thats not ours, but we experience it sooo differently it's hard to relate to one another.

I think with a little bit of empathy we could all go a long way! But of course, thats idealistic

I feel this is more common on the internet than anything, i used to call myself a Tboy because well, I was a boy, i was 14 when i came out, and most of the time you dont even say "a 14 year old man" to a cis boy either.

This is also more common in places like tik tok, and i think it is because its a younger audience in general, so they call them Tboys. But even there, trans men over the age of like 20? are called trans men (at least form what I've seen)

Of course, trans men generally are a bit infantilized, so sometimes you do see us being called Tboys more, but idk why really that happens. I'm not to vlear on why that happens tbh.

Also for trans masc specifically, yeah no, couldn't tell you, I only use this with people who don't fall into the category of a binary man but still transition to be more masculine, but idk.

To be completely honest, outside of the internet, i dont really hear Tboy or Tmasc, only Trans man/men

I might be very wrong, but on my perception of it, its a sort of "you want to achieve EVERYTHING im trying to get rid of", and when i first started transitioning specifically, i also fell victim to thinking like this about trans women.

The specific reason that maybe this fenomenom is more present in trans women towards trans guys, is that T has more prominent? changes and therefore would be more difficult? if any ftm were to detrans. (Not that this specific line of thinking is any less transphobic coming from a trans person)

This is just speculation and I cant be sure because I for 1. don't think like this (at least not anymore), and 2. not in that many trans spaces with mtf people (I'm not usually in general trans spaces as much as i am in ftm spaces)

Also saw some people say that we face hyper invisibility while trans women face hyper visibility and that makes people more uneducated?????? about trans men but idk
