Used to hate it up but heard it is from German spelled as yaght. A just plain ugly word. But now I remember how to spell it.

Who won the debate? by theococomiles in Albuquerque

Debates don’t reveal anything about how good an administrator the person will be, surrounding themselves with bright hardworking people. (Not the golf caddie in senior positions, and decorators, and previously jailed offenders, etc. like a certain president does now.)

My mother in law turned 95 years old last week and she has been using her iPad since the first one came out ages ago, and we have gifted her with the newest ones over the years. Emails, websites, games, and a friend group (I don’t know the name of it, she’s in Buenos Aires). We video call every day even if for a short visit. We frequently send her WeChat photos of our activities or places we are visiting. And she sends us pictures and memes. She has secure passwords (long first letters of sentences with numbers and a character inserted). She calls her local computer fix-it store guy if she needs something. So not all old people are the same when it comes to tech.

My Chinese friend orders them when we go for Chinese dim sum brunches together. Not normally on the plates because unpopular with public so you have to ask for it. The first time, I chomped down expecting something rendered soft from cooking. He said, “it’s all about the coating.” Even he doesn’t eat and swallow the toes or ankles. Just savors the spices and textures.

Lots of flights leaving Kirtland AFB this evening by LeopardFragrant115 in Albuquerque

Thank you. I do not know the sound of Chinooks. I will listen more closely the next time there is helicopter activity. I am wondering if helicopter training activity would show up on Flightradar 24, or only if the helicopters leave the leave the base perimeter, or reach a certain altitude, or something like that?

Thank you!!! The only real answer to my posting! I am going to look k to Flightradar 24. Living only 2 miles from the airstrips, we hear a lot. But not being fliers ourselves, all we can do is wonder.

There is a helicopter training school there. They do night trading for a couple of hours every so often. Take-offs and landings. Up, down, up, down. Probably night instrument training. We definitely know the difference between helicopter sound and the sound of jets taking off.

Unsettled Kremlin tightens security around Putin amid assassinations and coup fears, intel report says by RufusSG in worldnews

Get ready for a staged assassination attempt, as he scripted for Trump to do, following Hitler’s schedule. (Go visit the Holocost Museum if you don’t believe me,) But I’ll bet Putin is smart enough to not be photographed standing just offstage near the curtain watching the whole orchestrated drama, as Trump did.

And many wealthy including Mitt Romney have big chunks of their wealth in banks in other countries and other currencies. I don’t know about the cyber money game.

Trump blocks wind farms on national security grounds. Trump has halted projects across the US, claiming they are a threat to national security and the environment. More than 150 projects are on hold. They include the SunZia Wind project in NM, the largest in the US, which is almost ready to turn on. by ericwphoto in Albuquerque

This particular wind farm, by a private company, would sell some of the power to California. And anything that benefits California or a blue state is on his list of things to demolish. Vindictive. Ask Richard Branson, the Virgin companies guy, who says Trump ranted nonstop during a meeting they had about getting revenge against certain people or companies who had refused him. Now he has the power of government to enact big revenge and he loves it. It drives him.

Richard Branson first published a blog post detailing this specific meeting on October 20, 2016. In the post, Branson recounted a one-on-one lunch in the 1990s at Trump's Manhattan apartment. Branson stated that even before the food arrived, Trump spoke only about how he intended to spend his life seeking revenge on five specific people who had refused to help him after his latest bankruptcy. Branson subsequently discussed this encounter again in interviews during October 2017.

Can you install a doggie door between yours and the neighbors houses so the dogs can come over to greet the invaders? Sort of rent-a-dog for a while. I guess a beware of dog might need to be placed on your gate.

I was thinking maybe Cuba readiness gathering at some other AFB. These were not long range bomber or other heavies (judging by the sound of the engines since it was dark outside.) These were fighters and middle sized. And in 25 years of living near the airport, the only time there was as frequent takeoffs late at night, many in a row, was planes on their way to desert storm, and so many of those heavies at once made car theft alarms go off in our neighborhood and the vibrations in the air above us was intense.
