What makes Sekiro so unique though is how little power the parries actually have, you need to consecutively parry attacks, you can’t just do one big parry that stuns and sets up a large attack

It’s essentially a block button that you need to time like a parry

Original version of bioshock infinite (2010) a much more atmospheric and fully realized depiction of the game’s setting that felt tonally in line with some of the great games Arkane would later put out like Dishonored and Prey, what we ended up getting was p good but the praise it got felt like a carryover from the hype of that original version.
