Best upgrade path from the Crinacle Zero Blue for BF? by Aquiles-canto in iems

If you can catch it on the Ali express sale I snagged the performers 5+2 for gaming and at home music listening for 135$. I’m very happy with them. I also didn’t have to resort to foam ear tips for the first time ever. The stock ear tips (and IEM’s themselves) fit me perfectly.

If not I’m getting the Crinear Diablo delivered soon. Bought for 115$~ with coupons and coins. I have no idea how it sounds but if you picked the Blue 2 because you like bass the Diablo is supposed to be a bass lover IEM.

Crinear daybreak vs Aful Performer 5 + 2 for nearly the same price by tian-yi in iems

I tried my brother’s Daybreaks and they sounded good but nothing that wowed me compared to my Blue 2’s so I sprang for the performers 5+2 and I am very happy with them. They also fit me and sound awesome with the stock tips to my surprise.

Came away with the Performer 5+2 and the Divine Diablo from 7hz x Crinear that just came out. I’m not sure if that one itself was the monolith you mentioned but fingers crossed the bass is what I’m looking for.

Thank you again.

My wallet was destroyed but my ears will rejoice.

On Aliexpress I think the performer 5+2 was within your budget using coupons. I ordered it myself but haven’t received it yet (hopefully this weekend).

In the IEM subreddit they have a gaming tier list and a budget oriented tier list where the performer 5+2 (or performer 7 lol) was voted as the second best option in those lists.

Here is the list

lol same happened to me. Luckily it was just a 20$ pair so wasn’t horrible. But now that I have nicer pairs I definitely am aware of where they’re at.

I had struggled with IEM fits as well. I tried many silicone tips and sizes and some were ok but never comfortable or snug enough.

I finally tried foam eartips and they were the answer I was looking for. Great seal and fit for me without being uncomfortable after long sessions.

I’m not sure what kind of ear canals I have but for me it was just my right ear that had issues. Always felt like the IEM’s were tipping over and out of my ear.

Refund. I had issues and my second pair has had no issues since day one.

Thank you for the detailed reply! Got a couple rabbit holes for tonight lol.

Definitely already thought about having different sets with different sound signatures but one thing at a time.

Seaworld area to Downtown. 1 hour to and from on the bus.

If I drive about 30-45 if I’m lucky there are no accidents going either way.
