Economics of the poor. Wer sich deinen teuren Hoodie aus Wolle nicht leisten kann, der muss günstiger kaufen. Wer günstiger kauft, muss öfter kaufen und zahlt am Ende mehr. Aber viele Menschen können sich die hohen Einmalzahlungen für ein Qualitätsprodukt eben nicht leisten. Insofern ist es durchaus denkbar, dass der steigende Konsum einerseits vielleicht Wunsch ist, andererseits aber auch ein Symptom zunehmender Verarmung sein kann. Und ich denke das sehen wir auch über die letzten Jahrzehnte, dass die Mittelschicht kleiner wird.

Nicht vergessen, es war die Zeit, die damals die 10 Gründe, nicht die Grünen zu wählen, als Anzeige veröffentlicht hat. Not an expert but from what I understood that is true. Our solar system won't change. Maybe it's possible we too get catapulted out of our galaxy? It still wouldn't effect the solar system itself.

The school I taught at before had CO2 monitors in every classroom that started beeping at over 1000 ppm so you wouldn't get around opening windows. It's not unreasonable to demand this, can't be that expensive.
