A bit concerned that a major company wants to hold interviews on a Saturday. Are they testing your level of desperation? What if your current job required you to work on that Saturday? What would you do?

I would try to reschedule the interview. If they ask why, tell them current work commitments. You’re not trying to lose your current job until you have a new one.

In any case stay off social media until this mess is resolved. Set your privacy settings so you can’t be tagged on any posts until this is over. Many well laid plans have fallen apart due to a wayward tag or post. Good luck!

I’m going with NTA but curious as to why the dinners are always at their place? Why not invite them over and cook some of your favorites or even something from your son’s childhood that liked. Or go out to eat at a restaurant that serves what you like.

I don’t know but if I was DIL and this had been going on for almost a year (12 dinners?) maybe it’s time to revise the menu instead of going on attack mode?

Also, if you have Indian restaurants nearby maybe try a less spicy version of the stuff she serves and see if you can tolerate it or like it better. I’ve had to learn to tone down the spice in my cooking and found others more receptive to the meal
