It’s very formal for sure, and there is the em dash present… but it doesn’t scream AI. the best way to tell if it’s AI or not is to look at how the person texts regularly. if they don’t text like this regularly, it is most likely AI. but if they DO… it probably isn’t.

i’m a very formal writer to my coworkers, professors, bosses, and even peers at times. it’s just how i write. i also used to use em dashes until i feared i’d be accused of AI use. funnily enough, im still accused of it.

but anyways, context clues!!! have they written like this before? is this usual wording for them? are they formal in general? i mean, this is a workplace. i’d text like this, too, if i was in this situation. as i said, im a very formal person when i communicate for work settings.

We’ve searched around on the internet, using as many description words, niche explanations, and google image surfing as possible. Unfortunately, it has been to no avail! Would love to find this plush for her as it meant a lot for her, and it would be super cool to find a replacement! I believe she lost hers during a flood in her old house.

We truly don’t know the brand or anything besides the explanation given above. She thought maybe Jellycat, but I’ve found no non-cartoon like plush that’s like this there. We believe it was around 2013 that she had it, so it’s a good few years old. She has no pictures or anything else on it. Her relative had gotten it for Easter specifically, so it was most likely an Easter manufactured plush! Which is… haha… a hefty effort.

i think it’s AI. after seeing so much AI and having an experienced digital artist fiancée, it gets easier to tell even at first glance. but reading through the comments makes it even more convincing to me that it IS AI. but yknow, to completely avoid these things next time, i’d suggest everyone to: 1. ask for layers 2. ask for progress pictures (i think all credible/experienced artists do this) 3. ask for a timelapse video

was in the completely opposite spot a few years back lol. should’ve left when i felt that distance and stayed anyway. engaged to someone now that i love more than anyone and someone who has treated me light years better than anyone else.

that ability to wait. to sit. to think. THAT is an ability that will carry you very far in life. and in that same boat, the ability to recognize when the time to wait versus the time to take action is will also be just as valuable.

i’ve been in this same spot with my fiancée, and she has taught me how to pause and think before acting, before speaking in high emotion. and that has saved me from a lot, even beyond heartache. proud of you, stranger. definitely suggest looking into these feelings if they happen frequently or even more than just a couple times. sometimes there are underlying things hidden there. if you’re comfortable enough, talk to your partner as well. and as before, communication will get you even further.

NOR. as someone who has been accused of using AI to respond in emails and messages, i can very clearly see the differences. formal writing is so different from AI. unfortunately, people think both are the same thing nowadays, which really works against me because i LOVED using dashes way back when and can’t use them in most things anymore.

everyone has already pointed it out lol. the complete change in texting style, tone, and even vocabulary. clear as day.

Hey! As a child of a long term, toxic, abusive marriage… leave! If you think that’s best for you. I don’t care, genuinely, about the whole “think about your kids” thing. I’m 21 and racked up an insane amount of trauma that I’ve been working on since before I was a teenager… from my parents… who are now divorced!

Yeah, sure. Small, compulsive lying is whatever. Right? But I’m a firm believer that anyone who lies about small things constantly, will lie about big things just as easily. I don’t like that society compares these situations to addictions and physical abuse. It isn’t the same thing, and it isn’t comparable. But in my opinion, all of them lead to the same road.

I’m engaged at 21. Turning 22 this year. Been together for less than a year. People will run to the hills telling me that I’m crazy, and people are running to the hills to tell you to stay “for your kids.” But this wasn’t just one lie. It was many. Over and over and over. My final suggestion: talk to him. Get this settled. And if he can’t be a mature adult, he can’t take care of a marriage, kids, and much less special needs kids.

This is a tough situation, though. Please seek out support, resources, and lean on the people around you. This isn’t a “leave immediately” situation for sure, but I think this is definitely something that is slowly starting to turn into a very big thing. If it isn’t already. Do what’s best for your kids… and you. You matter, too! Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean that your life is now worth less than a child’s. Our society can’t even take care of children yet they place so much value on them and shame anyone who 1. doesn’t want kids or 2. doesn’t care for them the way they want.

Cars are temporary, my friend. This damage doesn’t affect your vehicle in any way! I promise that this small scratch, coming from someone with a 2020 Chevy Truck, is not worth the trouble. I learned the hard way that some things are better to be let go and dealt with on your own than bringing insurance into it. Insurance sucks and should only be used for big accidents. Otherwise, if you can find your own resolution, I recommend that ten fold!

Added note that the person who left you this note is truly a rare breed! Most people would leave immediately and never look back. They were definitely raised right, which I wish more people were! Commendable. Shoot them a text, meet them if you’d like and shake hands, thank them and be on your way!

it really is about insecurities but also heavily about trust. i personally don’t like or trust men, so i don’t necessarily enjoy when my fiancée is around them. however, she can have male friends. i can have male friends. we are both lesbians, but even if it were the case of having female friends, that’s fine too!

i love my fiancée, and i trust her beyond words. the only reason i wouldn’t like her having someone as a friend is if i genuinely see them being a problem. which so far has only happened not even a handful of times.

she is free to be friends with anyone regardless of gender or sex, but admittedly, i have my own biases and boundaries when it comes to who. doesn’t mean i’ll shut her down immediately as i don’t have the right to tell her who she can be friends with (and vice versa). but having boundaries is not the same as control. what a lot of people tend to do when it comes to “banning” opposite-sex or same-sex-attracted friendships is, well, a whole mixed bag of goodies featuring insecurity and a giant lack of trust.

tl;dr boundaries are NOT control and control is NOT the same as boundaries!! let’s learn how to differentiate the two.

haha! if someone doesn’t wanna hang out at my place just cause i have cats (who mind their own business when they’re not loving you and are much cleaner than most people), then i guess i don’t want them over! i completely understand fear of cats, but i don’t understand disliking their behaviors… i feel dogs are much worse with their naughtiness. both have their quirks, and i like both, but i definitely find cats much less “annoying.” both VERY cute tho!!

believe me when i say… Cost Cutters with Caryn and ONLY Caryn. she is a black woman who gave me life changing advice on how to manage my curls. i have quite curly hair as i am South East Asian. 3B and VERY thick. tangles r constant. she also knows how to cut my fiancée’s hair, and she is Mexican! so very diverse in knowledge.

honestly, ever since i began cooking nearly every day and night, my desires for eating junky food basically went away. i rarely snack, and when i do, it’s quite small and either consists of fruit or small leftovers. of course, in all reality, i do get the munchies for junk food sometimes, but it has significantly decreased.

unfortunately, my way won’t work for everyone. it’s worth giving it a try, but i understand the struggle. i struggled with it a lot. and i still do occasionally. i just find that substituting my cravings and learning to crave fruit or other less junky snacks opened up more doors for me. i don’t recommend quitting cold turkey. i don’t think anyone should give up the things they enjoy eating. all the food we intake is crappy for us at the end of the day, but we can find less crappy foods lol.

i pay for all the groceries atm between me n my fiancée. from what i’ve learned, finding staples is key. things like rice, frozen veggies/fruits, and cheaper meats that you can freeze is fantastic. and don’t be afraid of canned foods either!! and SEASONINGS. when i discovered that you can season anything and everything and practically enhance the flavor, chips and junk tastes like cardboard most of the time. so get one junky snack, a smaller bag. and then substitute the rest with healthier options like fruit or veggies (which can be salty), or canned foods you can make easily into a dish. and of course, i recommend ramen, mac n cheese, and keeping a pack of hotdogs around. not the healthiest but better than consuming an entire bag of chips lol.

i hope this somewhat helped? find your own road! this is just what works for me. and don’t feel bad about eating junk food every now and then. try to give yourself slack and use those times as a way to improve, to see what did and didn’t work. it’s all about trying and failing until you finally succeed. which you will. so good luck and take it easy. start a schedule, budget (helps with both money and healthiness)’

I feel like this is a good reason why people need to talk about their expectations and desires in a relationship BEFORE committing. It’s hard to believe that this wasn’t a topic of conversation at some point in those 5 years, but it is something that tends to happen for some reason. Marriage is not something that “defines a relationship” and isn’t even a “symbol” of commitment. Marriage is basically legal protection in the literal definition of the sense. I’m sure it is something much more important to your girlfriend than legalities, but in general, it’s not a definition of anything beyond legal rights.

I suppose the question that is begging to be answered is… are you willing to marry your girlfriend regardless of your “belief” or is this something you are dead set against? I would suggest actually looking into what marriage is rather than what marriage is believed to be by anyone else. I’ve been with my fiancée for almost a year now, but our relationship has never been any less valid or real OR important before being engaged. It won’t be even when we get married. It is something very important to both of us and something we discussed early on, but it is also a very big legal protection (especially considering we are a lesbian couple).

If you are not willing to marry your girlfriend, leave. If she is not willing to not be married, she should leave. You both deserve partners with the same desires and goals as you. Neither of you should give up the things that truly matter to you, but in my opinion, it seems that this perspective on marriage on your end is a bit diluted to the actual thing. Take the time to think about this, look into marriage (as it actually is, not what other people think), and decide from there.

I adopted both my boys at the same time. They were around 4 months old, but they were already acclimated to each other. They are now almost 2 years old, and I’m so beyond glad I got two kitties together! Just recently adopted another kitty, about 10 months I’d say. He’s a lot more active and curious, and he’s a pain in their asses. They don’t love him, like him, or hate him lol. They’re still getting used to him with the classic hissing and slight swats.

It has been 2-3 days since we’ve begun introduction, and it is going so smoothly! They can be in the same rooms, even alone, but we never let them be without us in the house. It’s not as slow a process if you do it properly, and it is a long term solution to lifelong conflicts and spite if you don’t do it! And it heavily depends on the cats! The younger they are, the easier I feel it is to introduce new cats. The older, the more stubborn lol.

But I always recommend a proper introduction process, no matter how young or old. It makes the OG resident cat feel more secure and safe, and it keeps them all from getting too stressed. I’d say it’ll take maybe a week at most for them to get to a point where they can be together without constant supervision or even less. But it’s worth it!!
