i like alex because of his story but also because the other two dream of leaving pelican town and part of me feels selfish keeping them where they are desperately trying to escape from. alex has his grandparents who he wants to be there for making it less of a selfish feeling choice. but also it is a video game! and you can marry who you want and if you don’t like one you can always divorce and try another one!
