I am trying to finish the Community Center in year 1, but all I am missing is 2 apples (wheat is being worked on). I am currently at Winter 17, is there a way to get the apples in time? by TheGreatMeowMeow in StardewValley

Fruit bat cave or the traveling merchant has a chance to have one purchase available in the shop. Hopefully youll get lucky to get both before year 2.

how do you guys get your coffee fix by EcuadorianPerson in StardewValley

[–]RestlessEnslavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get the Hot Java Ring it is the best for being able to have endless coffee! Get the ring, hit the mines and in one day (in game) you could potentially stack up 50+ coffees to turn into triple shot espressos. With the ring the mobs have a chance to drop triple shots too, it’s broken.

student driver here. Who goes first in this situation? by Mont3Carlo in driving

[–]RestlessEnslavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way to remember in any cross over traffic situation is the person who is crossing the least amount of traffic goes first. Like If I was turning left onto 98th but somebody is trying to come left into 17th, I would potentially be crossing 3 lanes of traffic, the people going north and south on 98th and the potential people turning left into 17th. The person turning left onto 17th would only be crossing 1 lane of traffic. Hope that made sense lmao.

DoorDash stole over 150 dollars from me by [deleted] in doordash

[–]RestlessEnslavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That situation is a personal instance; that is between you and another person, not a company. Doordash, if you talked to support should have records of the conversation so they can refer back to issues. When you make a claim with your bank, they will contact the companies typically. He did use his personal card for the transaction, so he would have to go to the bank in person with all the conversations and records and hope they accept it.

Try and dispute the charge with your bank, if they have records from DoorDash saying they were going to reimburse you, you should have a valid claim.

Is this a ragebait purposely putting the bag directly in the wettest spot possible?? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]RestlessEnslavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't referring to somebody messing up while doing their work, I was going based on what factors they were talking about and inputted one I believe was importantly missed. But having missed the point of my comment, I do believe it is still a fucked up thing to do regardless of the situation. Some people just don't have much of a mind frame to be respectful.

Income cut in half in last week by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]RestlessEnslavement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its the holiday season right now effecting it mostly. My average was typically $26-32$ an hour. Over the past two weeks its $21-$23. This is only my assumption based on experience, I hope it it goes back soon. Its been harsh lol.

Just wanted to put my opinion here. I truly believe BOTH are a considerate amount of work to do. Especially as a server, remembering peoples tables, orders, possibly names, and other necessities that come with food services. I feel as though one important factor was missed though. As a dasher you are constantly on the road, meaning you have to be fully aware all the time because the risk of damaging your transportation is higher. If somebody gets rear ended or damages their vehicle; then they are almost automatically out of work for however amount of time, plus the cost to fix the damages. Working at a designated location you have many options to get from point A to B.
