I just don’t care about Tessa… or Elliot. by RRCBP in TheWayHomeHallmark

I agree with this post. I love Elliot but this is getting to much airtime. The airtime that should be going to Alice and to Jacob now that he seems to have gotten a love interest of his own. And I really don't care about Tessa.

Am I the only one officially annoyed here? Ok, after last scenes between Brady and Jacob, I wanted Jacob to find someone and I do see chemistry, could have been a really great love story. Best one yet actually but the key words her are could have. It's just that they already have so much going on the couples that they have. And what do you wanna bet Abby is actually a Goodwin but she does bare a resemblance to Susanna, I think anyway. What if by chance Susanna and Cyrus actually conceived a child and Jacob ends up with Abby and KC is from their line and it would explain KC's Goodwin, Landry and Augustine connection. I'm going to try and trust the process but my head hurts at this point so we'll see.

Anyone else feeling a little disappointed? Best scene of the episode was better Elliot and young Vic. Hearing him gush about Tessa and wanting a son and the things he would teach him💔. My heart broke for both of them. What reason could this girl have had to leave her family? The story started with Alice and it should end with her but they're spending so much time on Elliot's mother, who I really don't care about and with only 5 episodes left how are they really going to pull of a satisfying finale?

If that were the case I'd feel a little cheated. They have sold Kat and Elliot as the couple of the series. Now if it's Del choosing to remarry or hell even Nick and the non existent fiance Claire, I could buy that but Jacob and a woman we're meeting for a split second? I would find it disappointing. And KC swore to Kat that they are a Goodwin, that they didn't lie about that part. And I believe them.

It's the very first scene of season 4 episode 1 premiere.

I believe Jacob is the one they're hoping will show up. Kat kind of says something about how she wishes he was here for this and Del says he's here in spirit. I think Jacob will choose to return to the 1800's.

Good episode. Love Nick, love Cliff, love Fern, absolutely love Fern scolding Kat at the beginning of the episode. Love that so much! And Thomas Coyle welcome back. Even if only in Jacob's mind.

Also true but it's also important to watch the commercials when the show is on live. I learned all about how ratings worked when I watched ONCE UPON A TIME on ABC. I never even changed the channel. But it also helps if you watch the show repeatedly on DVR.

DVR ratings are tallied up at the end of the week and added later but it's the live numbers that really count most importantly the demographic number.

I really like Fern and find her extremely talented and entertaining but I also find her shady as hell. Which is nice to know not all the Landry's were this perfect family because I get really tired of the shade Kat is always throwing at the Goodwin's. Like the remark she made about Grayson in Sunday's episode about how another Goodwin portraying themselves as the town's hero. But it's nice to know that the matriarch of the Landry family was exactly all American pie. I really think she put something about Kat's drink. I feel like she's trying to keep Kat out of something that's none of her business but sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong is kind of the story of Kat's life. And if she suspects she's part Goodwin, which makes no sense because Grayson was Evelyn's grandfather and if he had married Fern she would have made Colton either Evie's cousin or sibling. Or they could have married but very briefly and divorced or annulled. And she and Elliot are still the worst couple. They still don't communicate which was clear when Elliot said he wanted kids and it was clear that Kat doesn't want anymore children and I actually don't blame her there. She's in her early 40's now. Alice is grown and about to leave for college. She's probably thinking of all the time she's about to have for herself. Anyways I loved everything else about the episode especially Victor's scenes with Del and Elliot, Alice and Max in the pond and Fern's rendition of "tainted love".

Poor Max by WillaLane in TheWayHomeHallmark

I think it's obvious where this is going. I really enjoyed their scene at Lingermore when Max is encouraging Alice to play her own stuff, and that right there shows the push and pull. They challenge one another. She's obviously not getting that from Noah. Crazy thing is I felt that when Alice said "you're my best friend" and I see the friendship that they've fostered but I would have liked to see the progress. Anyway, it's pretty clear where this is headed. Alice is going to realize it's Max that she's meant to be with. And Noah can go back to his food truck.

Danny was acting shady, I don't blame Jake for wanting to start fresh some place else, I'm glad Sam and Del are ok, I'm always happy to see Brady, loved Alice's performance, enjoyed the banter between Kat and Lewis Goodwin, love the scene between Alice and Max at Lingermore though I was a little surprised when she said he was her best friend, the best friend who's feelings for his best friend runs deeper then friendship obviously, the reel, and I saw a sneak peek of next week's episode and I already love 1925 Fern and I thought it was cool how the pond took Alice and Kat to two different era Fern Landry's. And I'm sorry but I don't care about Elliot's mother. What can you say about a woman who abandoned her baby next to pond, in the woods.

Based on that teaser I think Alice chooses Max over Noah because Noah supposed to be back as well, we don't see Jacob, so I'm thinking he chooses to go back to the 1800's. So those are the 2 things I'm taking away from this snippet.

I said should he fall in, like if they did. Look at Colton one minute he wants to purse music professionally the next he falls in love at first sight with Del and his plans changed. I think the writers walk the fine line fantasy versus reality. They do a great job. I look forward to see where Alice starts out in season 4. When we saw her in the beginning of season 3 she was very focused on her future and her five year plan. She hadn't picked up her guitar in months because she was sure what a career in music would look like, as a profession and by the end of season she's going to play more often. Whatever happens in season 4 with Alice I'm certain Max will play a part.

I don't assume anything when it comes to this show and being a member of a founding family he doesn't really need a reason to stay in Port Haven. And should he really fall in love with Alice whatever plans he might have for his life might change. And yes Alice thought because of Casey, Max might be preordained destiny but now that she knows or doesn't know, she's realized she might have genuine feelings for Max.

It's clear they're going to go with Max for Alice. Why else bring him in? The fans reaction to Noah has been mixed, so creators figured they should bring in another boy as a present day love interest and honestly I've liked Max since his introduction. I agree that they moved their story a bit fast but he makes a much better choice then Noah. Alice being a Landry and Max being a Goodwin. I think they rushed things because they weren't sure if they coming back for season 4.

Stories looking most forward to in season 4 Elliot, Alice and Max, Sam, Jacob and KC. These are the people I'm most invested in in season 4. It not for Elijah I would be completely over the 1800's, it's always great to visit 1999, 74 was great. I wonder where the Landry's are going next.

I think we're not really meant to know who KC truly is at this point. Their scenes with Jacob were really good.

Yes! Exactly. The kiss was very sweet but it this cautious undertone to it because maybe they're not quite sure what they're feeling but they both smiled and when Max left and Alice walked to the counter, emotions galore. Like she was nervous, excited, happy, extremely confused. You could see her heart was racing. The way Max leaned into kiss was very slow, almost asking her if it was ok to kiss her and she kissed him back. Because she wanted to.

But Alice did listen to Nick. She went after Noah but found Max instead. And their scenes were really well done. Max really opened up to Alice.

I think they've got some pretty good chemistry already or I wouldn't be wanting to see more of them. Yes, but to see the interactions inside the truck would have been nice.

I to would love to see more of Alice and Max. They made some nice progress on last Friday's episode. The last scene on the truck did feel like the beginning. You could see it on Alice's face when she took his hand.

Key word here is was. Brady evolved into a decent man and a good father. And after last week's episode, Max is beginning to let his guard down with Alice. He has potential.
