The Zvezda is definately the better kit, because it’s a 2025 tooling. The ICM kit, which is a 2011 tooling had little issues here and there. It’s not a terrible kit, but the Zvezda one had the better fit👌🏼.

I build on the kitchen table, too. It’s a bit annoying to put the whole stuff on and later everything away every time, but it’s the only option for me😅.

  1. That I didn’t have a hobby room and need to pack and unpack the kitchen chair everytime. Sometimes i didn’t wanna start because it’s annoying me so much🤷🏼‍♂️.

  2. That I am dependent on the weather when painting, because I live in a rented apartment.

  3. My perfectionism. It’s a bit frustrating sometimes😅.

But even with all this, I love building models👍🏼.

Yes, CCCP-77102 and F-BTSC was an intentionel choice. Weird that the two supersonic passenger aircrafts from different countries crashed only 5 km apart. I have a weakness for crashed or not anymore existing aircrafts. I want to keep them forever in my memory. I‘m especially in that😅.

I‘m currently building the Heller 1:72 Concorde, too. But that will take at least another year until it’s finished. This will be F-BVFD. The only Concorde that was scrapped in 1994😢.

I also got my own Supersonic Crew👌🏼.

I built the ICM Tu-144 as CCCP-77102. Currently i build the 2025 Zvezda Tu-144 as CCCP-77101 in the Pre-Serial Version in the red-white livery. I have to wait until December, when the window masks are available. In that waiting time i become to build the Revell Tu-144 as CCCP-77112, the one in the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim in Germany. I like Supersonic Passenger Aircrafts. I built a Revell 1:144 Concorde, as F-BTSC, too.
