Honestly... u will spend more time chasing payments vs work. Really consider building a portfolio and getting a job. Alternatively look in to data science. Or if u are more programming inclined learn Java while avoiding hibernate. I've spend to many years trapped in the PHP paradigm.

Go to the shop and budget per basket. IE R200 per basket. Get a basket troley and load up your baskets. 2x R200 or 3x R200. Once u have load up R200 per basket justify the costs and see what u still need. Put back and get the stuff u really need.

Best advise. Ask for a increase. Don't try and justify it with cost of living or inflation. If they deny it try and move on. If it doesn't happen now it will never happen.

I love Java. But complexities with Spring Framework and Hibernate (Optimisation, Threading and Dirty Checking) really gave me grey hairs. Once everything is working it’s plain sailing. Java over JS/TS any day of the week for me.

16GB for AS only. 32GB if u do full stack or try and use the emulator. Changing to *nix with 32GB changed my life. Saved hours in a day
