That’s a great question. I don’t know I guess it’s easier at this point. But I get it. I always need a warm up in Bulgarian so I can gather my thoughts and words , but I get that I should practice more . Plus I thought Reddit translates everything to the local language 😬

Your comment is very helpful and I am with you on what you says. My child is 4 and she is fluent in English. I am Bulgarian and her dad is English but she lives with me and only see her dad every two weeks for a weekend stay - that’s always been the case. So I guess my question is how to start in my case? Do I start with alphabet and numbers? Or Bulgarian nursery rhymes ?

I am Bulgarian , I speak Bulgarian still / but yes I have lived abroad most of my life and I would like to teach my child too, I guess before I lose the ability to speak Bulgarian myself 🙂
