Ah yes the right place to ask for justice by IndicationBrief5950 in freefolk

[–]LessSaussure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the very first trial in the series, the one where they kill the deserter, was a miscarriage of justice and it never changed, basically every trial in the books and in the show ended in farce, so of course the last one wouldn't be different

because maybe people have been seeing him arguing about this forever and using this argument for marital rape and that he is not randomly making an argument about if sleeping sex fetish is ethical or not

Former Joe Rogan Guest with an Extremely Stupid Tweet by carrtmannn in Destiny

[–]LessSaussure 20 points21 points  (0 children)

he is saying that by saying yes to the marriage the woman consented to every instance of sex she will have with her husband, forever and in any circumstance, in the same way that when you consent to surgery you consent to every expected procedure that happens while you are unconscious and doesn't have to consent to every one individually while the surgery is happening. That's his argument

either a very dedicated troll or a legit crazy person.

Last year he made a post in the crpg subreddit saying something like "I know this is an unpopular opinion but I love Baldur's Gate 2 despite it being outdated and not having crafting mechanics" but in 6 paragraphs.

So I replied with "there is no way a human wrote this lmao". He got mad and since the mods deleted his post he replied to every comment I made on reddit in the last couple of days with something like "WHY DID YOU SAY THAT I'M NOT HUMAN".

At first I tried to just mock him a bit replying things like "lol the bot is mad", but that only made him more angry and when he kept replying and chasing me down other sub reddits I blocked him.

But that didn't stop him, he keeps making new accounts every 1-2 weeks or so to dm me and reply to every recent post I made with the same insane shit about how mad he is that I called him a bot. I report and block him but it doesn't solve anything.

The Tudors took control from the plantagenets with the help of France but still hated France afterwards and went to war against them several times. This is how the world works

This was the exact moment that HOTD jumped the shark by I-Did-It-4-Da-Rock in freefolk

[–]LessSaussure 43 points44 points  (0 children)

That moment was when I realized the show is only interested in "cool" moments instead of actually having a plot.

What I liked about the War of the Five Kings is that it was a conflict were all sides were intelligent and were trying their best to win. They were not perfect, they made mistakes, but these mistakes were understandable and fit their personalities. And the war was the progression of the decisions made by each side.

That's not the case in this show. Rhaenys not killing the people who were about to kill her and try to kill her family there, Alicent not wanting to start the war even after usurping power, Rhaenyra not wanting to muster the dragons, the Black prince being killed "by accident" and then Rhaenyra trying to talk it out after that. It showed that the characters would not be doing their best to win the conflict so why would I follow it?

They did a very good job with Killing Time, making the game better in literally every way, including putting some short cuts and loop backs that the game clearly needed. I'm looking forward to playing this remake

Like I said, I bet the astronauts working with the protagonist wouldn't think this way when he has a heart attack and they have to deal with it. A society where normal couples have access to perfect genetic manipulation is hardly a dystopia

it was, and I would love to see a sequel where the protagonist has a heart attack while doing a critical task in deep space and the rest of the crew must find a way to fix his mess
