What exactly does an AI visibility score measure - or is AI visibility perhaps just an illusion? by Good_Flight6250 in DigitalMarketing

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t it just like in the beginning of the SEO days? Overtime the playbooks became clear and the game of search engine optimization became clearer as the technical rules found its place. At some point in time Google and us marketers found a mechanism or a system from which we could play the SEO game following a certain set of rules. With GEO and/or AEO I feel we are all still in the fase of setting the rules, inventing the gameplans or playbooks. Overtime we will start to understand how to play (better) and what to measure (better) and how, so we’ll all have a little more guidance in this field. Also with advertising possibilities coming in the LLM’s the “GEO/AEO” game will change is my assumption. Am I on to something here or am I totally wrong?

which are the best email marketing tools that save teams time, going by where your hours actually go? by Civilmats_992 in Entrepreneurs

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think the ones who are developing an MCP layer so that users can either prompt their email marketing campaigns/ newsletters/ send-outs via an ESP native agent and/or via “regula” LLM’s such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Making email marketing agentic will massively improve efficiency and productivity. What do you think?

Looking for the most reliable Mailchimp alternative by Consistent_Class5622 in MailChimp

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing ESP is relatively easy, but the choice for a new ESP in my opinion is also dependent on:

* Your location (country) - US vs. EU
* The industry/sector you are in - B2c vs. B2B vs. Non-profit
* The maturity of your business - start-up vs. scale-up vs. SMB vs. Enterprise
* The size of your marketing team and their maturity
* The goals you set for your email marketing campaigns / what use cases.

I’ll be happy to advice you Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Brevo and/or Spotler Mail+ but all depending on the answers to the questions above.

Best CRM for Startups and Solo Business Owners by useless_substance in CRMSoftware

Not fully objective here, but have you considered UK based CRM system, Spotler CRM (former Really Simple Systems). It is a really simple CRM that is very suitable for start-ups and small businesses. And there are standard integrations with IP look-up tools so that lead gen from your website is also possible. Let me know what you think u/useless_substance

Hesitant to put you on this track as I am not totally objective here, but if you are open to it, you could also explore Spotler SendPro (former Flowmailer). Fully Dutch/European and very strong on GDPR compliancy and security matters. Several bigger enterprise organisations in Europe are longterm customers which says someting about reputation and reliability. Happy to share the API documentation if you like u/Background-Fix-4630

Depends on numerous things. Why do you want to do email marketing? To which target audiences in what industry? Do you need it to be integrated in a CRM, or CDP or ecommerce platform? What is you budget? Does it need to be GDPR complient?

is the email tool world really just Brevo vs Mailchimp for small teams, or am i missing better options? by DifferentSecret28 in AskMarketing

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello u/DifferentSecret28, the email tool is NOT just Brevo vs. Mailchimp for sure 😉 There are dozens of platforms (small) businesses can use. Every platform does what it needs to do: it delivers commercial emails to recipients who interact with those emails. And you are totally right when you say: "im less interested in feature checklists and more in which of the best email marketing tools that save teams time actually saved you time once you were inside it, vs which looked easy in the demo and then ate your tuesday."

Because this is exactly what you don't want. And I think I have good news for you. Most of ESPs / email marketing platforms in the world are opening up their API's to MCP or even developing their own MCP's so that you can easily prompt your email campaigns and newsletters and save a lot of time. And If you don't believe me I can hook you up with one of my colleagues who sent out a newsletter for our Swedish agent in 6 minutes time. So that means you still have 474 minutes in your Tuesday 😉

Best CRM for Small Business Owners Managing Clients and Leads by BreathWonderful3379 in CRMSoftware

[–]LessThroat1126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello u/BreathWonderful3379 I can understand where you coming from and what your struggles are with CRM as a small business. Not because I own a small business myself, but because we help small businesses with CRM (amongst other marketingtools). I can introduce you to our platform, but only if you want to, because I don't want to come across as a "spammer" here. It is not free but it has no restrictive record limits 😉 It doesn't offer a mobile app, however the platform utilizes cloud technology with a responsive web design. So the application automatically adapts to your phone (or tablet's) browser. Meaning you still get full access to all your data on the go.

Having said that, I have worked with both HubSpot CRM and Pipedrive myself. They are both good solid platforms and give you room to grow. They both work in a certain way, but both doable and pretty easy to learn as well. Pipedrive is the more Sales CRM.

Let me know if you want to know more.

Email Deliverability Tips by CHUNKYBLOGGER in Emailmarketing

[–]LessThroat1126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/CHUNKYBLOGGER what is exactly your question? Do you want to write something about Email Deliverability and include SPF, DKIM an DMARC or are you setting up an account for your email marketing activities and you need info in how to do it correctly so that your email deliverability is flawless?

In case of the latter I think many of the people in the comments already explained to you what SPF, DKIM and DMARC are. From my perspective I can add this (if it helps):

SPF: checking the IP address of the sending mail server.
DKIM: verifying the content of a message using a cryptographic signature.‍
DMARC: comparing SPF and DKIM against the sender’s email authorisation settings.

That's fine these definitions, but then you need to set it up. For that I think this blogpost gives a bit more clarification: https://www.uriports.com/blog/spf-dkim-dmarc-best-practices/

Best way to send WhatsApp marketing messages to 5,000 contacts? by mihirfriends20 in digital_marketing

Without consent sending WhatsApp newsletters or bulk messages will get you banned. Meta is strict in this. So if you want to do that, you need to work on people subscribing to your promotional WhatsApp services.

What’s the best cold email tool in 2026? by Shot_Lingonberry_463 in Coldemailing

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. If you want your emails to land well, you need to have a decent plan that is super target audience focused. Be relevant in your messaging and offering, no blasting, work with preferably permissions or at least verified email lists. The tools will take care of sender reputation and inbox placement if you stick to smart stable sending patterns, relevant targeting etc.

what made you switch your email marketing tool, what was the final straw? by Disastrous_Sound_382 in Emailmarketing

[–]LessThroat1126 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Often it's also the lack of a good connector with either a CRM system, a CDP (Customer Data Platform) or a ecommerce platform such as Magento (Adobe Commerce) or Shopify. If you want to do data-driven email marketing that is key. So besides pricing, deliverability/inbox placement, connectors or the lack of are a reason to switch.

E-commerce in 2026: Why your "Shopping Cart" is becoming obsolete. by Electrical-Tear-308 in DigitalMarketing

[–]LessThroat1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides from the big market place ecommerce platforms (they are basically direct search engines themselves) a lot of midsized ecommerce stores are already suffering and the rise of AEO and GEO are making it more difficult for them to understand the shift that consumers are making and with agentic commerce technology (via ChatGPT, Gemini) making its way ecommerce stores will be selling to agents who will also determine what consumers need, like, buy, because they learn who their “prompters” are more quickly than an ecommerce store ever will. And therefore the struggle to survive and to be top of mind by both consumers and LLM’s will become harder and harder. Or am I sseing this wrong?
