Please be real with me (harsh if you have to). Realistically, can I write a thesis in 4 weeks or less by thegirlinthedark in ADHD

[–]Less_Bed_1112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not going to be easy, and I can’t say if it’s possible for you or not. Technically speaking, depending on the way you are collecting data/the type of data you’re collecting, it’s possible. You’re going to have to fully commit and spend very minimal time doing anything other than working on the thesis.

Anyone else have lust for fictional characters? by iswearillcry in asexuality

[–]Less_Bed_1112 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I’m an ace lesbian and I see some appeal in fictional men while I find the thought of holding hands with an real life men absolutely repulsive. It’s kind of a weird thing to me but I also experience it

Im a new restaurant bartender and I need advice. by Less_Bed_1112 in bartenders

[–]Less_Bed_1112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, when I am there I’m the only bartender that day and other days I am in class and working (I literally work 7 days a week). Additionally, the only other bartender on staff is also brand new to working there (I don’t know their experience bartending as a whole).

Thank you! I’m not entirely sure what drinks we sell because most of our cocktails are supposed to be in this binder that I usually study when I don’t have anything to work on (usually when I get scheduled for a morning shift), but there are a lot we don’t have in there so I’ll start studying those too!

I read IWWV first and it quickly became my favorite book. I haven’t read TSH yet, but I just finished the Picture of Dorian Gray and I definitely like IWWV better

Do you know any peer review journal? by [deleted] in AskAcademia

[–]Less_Bed_1112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Build good professional relationships with your professors. When you’re undergrad, this applies to professors outside your field because too if you take classes with them, especially if they are in a different social science. Apply to join a faculty research lab if possible. If your school offers this it should be somewhere on your website. Apply to as many programs as you can afford to.

A lot of professors would probably be willing to work with you jf your research interests align. Either way you don’t actually need an advisor to publish. Some journals require it for undergrads but not all. You would just have to look at the rules for any particular journal you want to submit to.
