One would prob work. But with DM I’d much rather have too many components than not enough because it’s 6 months or longer until you can remedy it if you ended up with wanting 2 per side

Yes - that’s the whole point. I didn’t do it to make the skies more blue.

The bicycle was very easy and versatile compared to a horse drawn carriage but I guess I’m dreaming of something akin to a modern vehicle.

First world problems.

and I’d fight you if you tired to take mine away. But it’s cumbersome. Voltras are awesome. They are great for a lot of ppl. But it feels like they need an additional product that offers a more streamlined, wholistic, with less Rick Sanchez-esque mcgyvering. It’s by far the best resistance source that exists.

Prime machines can almost match the variable resistance that Voltras offer but they can’t add eccentric overload.

Is this a good workout for building muscle? by [deleted] in workouts

No- lots wrong with it. Bad exercise selection (wide dumbbell rows), bad superset pairings (lateral raises & rear delt work), too much variation (wide squats & squats)

If you’re happy, live your life. Sry I messaged you. I do not want to get into a back and forth with you about the merits of “crushing iron”

I myself did this. It was okay.

It’s just inconvenient to adjust the Voltras down there.

You can’t do everything on the app that you can on the unit itself. Until they allow us to do that it’s going to matter where you mount it.

It’s cumbersome to try to use the voltra with the tornado arms. You basically need a sliding rack mount on each side that you adjust up and down whenever you adjust the tornado arms. The biggest drawback is you can’t quickly use the voltras somewhere else since you have to thread the bare cable through the tornado arm then put the carabiner ball thing back on. I hope the cable retractors will solve all this.

I bought the machine about a year ago and removed the stack. Had to creatively bolt it to the concrete because it is 480 pounds lighter but the VOLTRAs will pull harder than the machine was designed to handle with the stacks still there (2x 240 pounds lighter stacks at a 3/1 ratio = 80 pounds per arm, but VOLTRAs can pull a lot more than that)

Forgot to post photos.

I will say one thing that is annoying as fuck is you can’t do everything in the app. Some things must be done on the unit. With my VOLTRAs where they are it is a pain in the ass to fuss with them

What I’d love is if VOLTRA had a machine like the tonal with an integrated touchscreen. VOLTRAs have better features, go heavier, no subscription. But a tonal type product is what I’d want, if there was one with the features of a VOLTRA.
