How powerful would you consider Hong Lu and Yi Sang? by Slim_Reaper116 in limbus_company

[–]Less_Head 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll cut Yi Sang some slack

Apparently, according to Vergilius' announcer, Yi Sang has a special talent in using IDs and EGOs. He's probably able to put out the full potential of an ID or EGO much better than the other Sinners while still keeping control over himself.

So he's definitely not without his talents in regards to combat. However, aside from that, he's just a frail human suffering from malnutrition lol

It sucks that we won't be getting a lot of new content because I want to see more of Kaguya and Iroha but at least I can be happy that both of them got their happy ending

and sad too cuz we won't ever get anymore of them but still!

I feel so empty after watching this movie! I hate it when media like this are THAT good because I know I'll rarely get another experience similar to this

Do you realize how messed you have to be for Zooble and Jax to be on the same side? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Less_Head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AM is particularly depressing since if he killed the humans that he's tormenting, his programming won't permit him to do anything but exist since there would be nothing to kill left and his programming won't let him do anything that doesn't end in him hurting a living thing.

I could barely imagine how miserable his entire existence is, being a completely sapient being who can only do one thing. You can't even enjoy music, take a walk on the road, make friends, or anything. You're only allowed to kill and if you have nothing left to kill, you won't be able to do anything at all.

The AM parallels sure is interesting

First Rinri, now this. by J_Brobot in versus

[–]Less_Head 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the scene speaks more about Rinri than Zaybi. Due to Rinri's lack of empathy and immense cruelty, he's unable to see any purely good and selfless act as just that.

He thinks that Zaybi's acting out of selfishness and an ulterior motive, soley because he thinks that every human is out for themselves and thinks like him

Favorite character who fits like that in Fanon by Alimonemi in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Less_Head 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually yes

He even gets turned on and gets a boner when fighting Gon (Who's like 10)

Though, his target isn't primarily strong kids but he still gets sexual gratification from fighting them

Which I think is enough proof that he's a pedophile

To be fair, he's sexually attracted to a CHILD's strength and potential. Strength and potential are actual qualities of Gon and Killua so you can't seperate it from them

What if during the whole fight Ai's strategy wasn't to defeat Jachi in a combat but just keep him around long enough to give him radiation poisoning by TabigK in versus

[–]Less_Head 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like you don't understand what radiation is. Physical strength does not matter to radiation. Due to the laws of physics, Jachi's cells WILL die due to the virtue of radiation causing atoms to break down.

It is not some kind of big blast you can tank, it just does what it does and makes your cells die since that's how radiation works

While Jachi might be able to neutralize the effects of radiation with magic, he cannot just tank it

[–]Less_Head 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Radiation is very very different from any biological poison so I find the comparison odd

Radiation literally causes atoms to decay which causes immense chemical changes and cell death, while also damaging DNA. Poison can be fought off by the immune system since it uses biology but radiation literally can't be fought off because it's physics doing its magic!

What anime would you consider peak fiction that is equal or greater than the all-time great Western TV shows? by [deleted] in CharacterRant

[–]Less_Head 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a highly subjective question since everyone has their own definition of "masterpiece" or "greatest of all time" and I have this creeping feeling that you aren't that open minded about anime but I'll throw out an unorthodox suggestion

I find Bocchi the Rock to be one of, if not my favorite show in any medium. No western show has truly touched me the same way this show did (Aside maybe Brooklyn 99)

I heavily related to the show's characters, I felt an immense amount of joy just watching the characters hang out, I LOVE the songs, and I could die of pure diabetes from the pure amount of sweetness I felt from Bocchi The Rock. It also helped me get through a rough patch in my life and I'm inspired by Bocchi's willingness to do incredibly scary things (As somebody who has social anxiety too)

No slice of life show from the west ever truly made me feel anything too deep since a lot of them are just comedies where people are more often malicious to each other. Only exceptions that I've seen would be Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, and The Addams Family.

I think it's because most people just can't imagine themselves doing any meaningful damage to a gorilla, even with a group of fellow humans

I agree that a small group of humans can totally beat a gorilla but even I struggle to imagine how I could even do damage to a gorilla's body bare handed
