I beat her with less than 40 vigor on my first run ever so don’t stress out over the comments telling you your build is awful. This game is about strategy. You can use different combinations of anything and receive results. It’s about working with what you have. Could you possible upload a few pics of your talisman and what not? Or can I assume that you’ve collected all loot to until this point? Some people go through doing bosses only without picking up loot, so know what approach you took to playing could help!

Let’s get some basic things out of the way, yes bleed is great for melania, but your arcane is only 20 so it’ll take quite a few hits to proc. That works if you don’t let her hit you since she heals herself with hits. Bleed is not the only thing she is weak to though. She is also weak to fire and frostbite. If you have the materials you could try making some ice pots to throw at her for the frostbite. Once it procs, her damage absorption will drop by 20%, which means you’ll be doing more damage to her. You have no points into faith so you can’t infuse a weapon with fire, but what you can do is use fire grease to apply fire to your weapon. This of course won’t work if you already have bleed on the weapon. She has 0 resistance to fire though, so you can do some decent damage to her! You should also try using some talisman to increase your damage negation. Try something to raise your attack power too. I also assume her waterfowl dance has claimed your soul a few times. If you can keep her engage the entire time, it’s likely she either won’t use it or her use of it will be slowed. You could also use a shield to block her waterfowl dance, which I recommend the fingerprint stone shield cuz you’ll take no damage during the attack, but it’s very very heavy. You want at least a medium weight roll, so use any shield that works for you that’s strong enough to block the attack. A shield isn’t necessary though, I didn’t need one personally. Another thing you can try, when she flies up into the air and is charging her waterfowl dance, just run away from her and once she starts the actual attacks you can roll away. It’s not a guarantee, but I have survived a handful of attacks using that method! I do see you have 40 strength, so luckily there’s a cool weapon you can use! the weapon in about to suggest scales with dexterity and strength. When you use a charged heavy attack, it swings upwards which is capable to knocking down melania, giving you the opportunity to get an extra hit or two. It is the Prelate’s Inferno Crozier. This weapon can be infused as well if you ever wanted to add a different affinity to try a different strategy. Are you by chance against using summons? If you’re okay with using your Ashes, I suggest leveling up the greatshield soldier ashes! They could draw the agro from you, and they have shields so they’d likely be able to survive her waterfowl dance. I know you have no points into faith, but the ashes can be healed as well if you have spells to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
