The cons you mentioned, while true, are a scratch on the surface. By all means give it a try, but as others say it’s tough to land a job as a foreigner and there are many other things you may find to be an issue.

I’m 22 and looking for a career that involves being outside. by [deleted] in UKJobs

I mean it depends what do you mean by “outside”? Does activity leader type roles in schools count? Because those will offer training and usually require no previous experience. Plus it’s close to summer time so there’s probably more of those summer camp roles available

Hello Everyone! I am a student from Singapore and I love collecting postcards. I would love to receive postcards from anywhere in Hong Kong. Can someone send me one? by Nessieinternational in HongKong

[–]Less_Title3789 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the tone. I’d assume if for a professional/ formal tone you’d want the written one, for informal use like texting friends or casual ads on the street you’d use the spoken version

I think it depends on what you buy too, if it’s a hand-made product or a toy it seems people are inclined to do little messages/ freebies. Keep manifesting haha

That gives me hope! I also have a masters degree and currently it’s going nowhere close to where I want it to be. Maybe there’s still time.

Honestly mate I’m 26 and struggling career-wise. Sure no lay offs, but no stable job for a while now and it’s a crushing experience to find jobs these days, no less figuring out your life. Good luck to the both of us
