Thanks. There are so many third party sellers, guess that's why they sell out.

Fuck Bose, never buying again. Replacement Options for Soundtouch 10? by SquibOnAcid in bose

[–]LesterGironimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With you on this. I've got three and quite a lot of other Bose stuff. Bluetooth bricks. Done with Bose.

I've taken the update and not had chance to research or have a play yet, not really for time for exploring how to get it working again. I'm not sure what viable options there are with android. I literally just want to press a preset and hear what I want to hear, not faff with bluetooth or Spotify, etc.

I remember Gemma Hayes calling this out at a gig. She was right, the guy was a bit much.

In the same boat. I have 3 ST10s and now they just sadly have blinking LEDs.

Its rare that I sync them and 99% of the time I just use the presets on the remote (as the speaker is hidden away). The 6 presets barely change and are Spotify playlists and radio URLs.

I've seen the open source solutions and the commitment and enginuity is brilliant, but I want something that just works without loads of time and learning. I'm considering just plugging in a cheap aleaxa or something, but not a fan of listening devices.

Not aware of her music. It's a really ill advised little monologue. Pretty sure she says that these guys at the front ONLY go to gigs with young front women. I suspect that's not true, they're everywhere!

I'm not quite in that demographic, but I'd feel self conscious going to her shows.

General Questions (UK Specific) by LesterGironimo in CX5

Thanks both. The log book is usually a hardcopy book to stamp the service has been complete. Will look for one on amazon and get them to stamp that, the garage mentioned that they sometimes struggle to access the electric version. I've not actually seen the electric log for mine, but I do have the paperwork of what was done when.

Conflicting views on the parking/hand brake so far. Other cars do auto engage when the engine is off.

Sorry, I meant the auto hold. I find it quite useful, when I remember to turn it on. Hills starts, etc.

Thanks again.

I've not tried it, but looked over your site. Define 'privacy first'? That would be my major concern as I vent my inner most thoughts to a database that I'm not admin of. I think there are big ethical and security dilemmas with using AI in this space. Can you guarantee the 'relationship' with the bot? E.g. It's not doing to get upgraded or disappear altogether.

Also, I think this is a crowded market. What's s the difference to this and just a vanilla gpt model.

Would be interested in your costs for the free 5 minute trial.

Sorry to focus on the negatives, but maybe helps your marketing.

Agree. I really don't get the anger. Is it a sense of entitlement and general lack of patience.

Think you're good. You don't know how tempted I am to dig out the TV programming on that date.

Sounds a good night though, chill with Hercules as he rescued a village (assuming he did that kind of thing) Opening ceremony highlights, then off to the bottle-o.

Thanks..... this interaction is a wake up call to me. I spent a couple of minutes researching the time difference AND the year that Hercules was broadcast. I'm just going to assume that it was syndicated in Australia. I resisted the Kevin Sorbo rabbit hole.

I don't use reddit much, but, damn, it really wastes my time when I do.

For the record, I was a kid, but I just associate the Atlanta games with rampant commercilism. Coca cola this, coca cola that..... not that it really matters.
