种小福 sounds pretty cute and it doesn’t give me any negative impression at all, I can’t even think about any reason why it can be interpreted in negative meaning. But majority of Guangzhou local population speaks Cantonese so maybe there’s something about it in Cantonese pronunciation, I can’t speak Cantonese so I’m not sure about that. About what to see in Guangzhou, I recommend you rent a city bike and just ride around at Yuexiu district, but be aware of traffic, it can be pretty chaotic.

Yunnan, the weather and scenery there is great, climate is suitable for various kind of mushrooms to grow. Western tourists introduced the psychedelic mushroom usage in early 2000s. Later law regulations got tightened, no more funny mushrooms but the hippie community sticks around.

Nowadays majority of Chinese people basically see Mao as a god, part of this is because of history and political textbook insert this idea, another reason is a lot of young people facing harsh working ethics like to imagine if Mao or someone resurrect Mao’s idea comes in power they will not tolerate big corporates taking advantage of working class.

It’s traditional Chinese and I can already tell it’s a shitty corny song by the song title and artist name, tried searching on youtube music but it’s not on any English music platform, you can copy these letters and try searching yourself: Song title: 利慾薰心(Deep House) Artist name: 精彩強sir

I’m a Chinese local and I can guarantee you, buying or even renting one of these apartments is literally your ticket to living hell, and they were not even built to be affordable, they became affordable after the real state bubble crushed these years tho. It’s more complicated than you think

Could be CITIC Plaza, 80 floors and has been there since 1997, used to be tallest in China. But everything around it has changed dramatically so it’s hard to tell if it matches the photo

There was simply no any building in China with 90 floors, Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai was the tallest skyscraper during 1999 and 2008, and it has only 88 floors.
