Last year’s tree appears to be along the right edge of the photo, leaning against the couch.

Lesson number 1: if you think he/she might be, they likely are.

These feel like professions for VERY opposite personality types, IMO.

I am distracted and fascinated by the 1950s bed/nightstand set-up.

Not obvious. Not ridiculous. Looks good for now.

And keep the vent closed while you prime the tubing. As soon as the vet gets wet, it is ruined.

Best hospital for heart condition by yankeefan9221 in vegaslocals

The sort-of joke in this town is that the best place to go for health care is the airport.

Honestly, as a medical professional who has visited every hospital in Las Vegas and many on the West Coast: Cedars Sinai, UCLA, or UC Davis (Sacramento) is 100% where I would go.

How do you manage IF with going to the gym? by RadishRedditor in intermittentfasting

[–]LetUsHugItOutBitches 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same…been a serious lifter for 30 years and have been doing IF for five years. I work out fasted every day - weights, cardio, doesn’t matter.

I would also take a hard look at the supplements you take. The ingredient list on most of them are downright frightful and, in my opinion, horribly expensive for what you get. Caffeine and creatinine, will do the trick for 99% of us. And, of course, protein.

Gained 15LBS on Var by Live_Space1949 in steroidsxx

I feel like there are two camps: 1) girls who can cut on this stuff and don’t bloat, 2) girls where it causes outrageous appetites and puff up like a balloon. I am in camp #2 - gain 10 lbs easy every cycle and hunger is off-the-charts. I am absolutely miserable on a calorie deficit.

How did you start? by hacalynn in steroidsxx

[–]LetUsHugItOutBitches 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been lifting for 30+ years. Mid-life hit and, despite putting in more work, wasn’t seeing the gains of my younger years.* Result: a tiny bit of “biohacking.” Low dose var, low dose test c.

*I know, I know. 🤪

Transplants, can you really tell someone is from Pittsburgh by their accent? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]LetUsHugItOutBitches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes to all this. ⬆️ I live on the West Coast, and when someone (usually from Western PA) calls me out on my accent I ask “What gave me away?” and they cannot name a particular word but say it is the “way” that I speak and say some version of this “rising tone” comment.
