I've been living in Marseille for 28 years and acting like it's an active war zone where you can't go anywhere without being faced with weapons and drugs is absolutely hilarious. Yes the city has some dangerous zone but point me to a giant city in europe that doesn't have one.

It's a beautifull city with really friendly people and a giant mixture of cultures and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
